There's plenty of bad things to talk about from last nights game, but that doesn't equal broad general statements like us needing to form an offense. We're 6-3 people.

Although I'm surprised and pleased with our record, we have some deep issues offensively, and it ain't just ONE GAME. We have struggled for 4 weeks, three weeks against poor defenses.

We failed to score 20 points against the Rams who gave up 38 Philly. 41 NYG, 37 Seattle, 31 Buf, 34 Cards, and struggled against Cleveland and Detroit.

4 out of 9 games we have failed to score 20, and twice failed to score 10.

We are currently scoring less per game than we did in our dismal offense last year, while having the league's bloody leading rusher.

This is now the third straight year of struggling to score touchdowns, and no matter how many yards per game....no matter how few int's you throw, the game comes down to points. And we ain't scoring enough of them.

So no, this isn't about one game against a #1 defense. It's about an ugly pattern that has re-emerged over the past 4 straight games, and this bad movie we've watched enough of in 2006 and 2007.

For once, Ray, I agree with you. Completely.

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

I would say we re-evaluate out play selections and learn to be aggresive and not so predictable. IF A FAN CAN TELL YOU WHAT THE NEXT PLAY IS GONNA BE, THEN COACHES CAN SEE IT A MILE AWAY!

I would like to see more of Cooley attacking downfield instead of the 5-10 yard plays and rely on him getting some YAC, although he is capable of doing that.

(Off Topic) I found it funny how you said "I would like to see more of Cooley"

Saying we need to improve on specific points is different than saying we need to form an offense. Of course we need to figure out how to finish drives more consistently.

I know no one wants to hear anything positive, but did anyone notice we came away with no serious injuries?!?!?!?? This is an important factor in our homefield stretch. If Moss, CP, and Landry can rest up those injuries (along with Springs) and come out healthier, it will be a big deal for us in the near future.

Another positive is that this loss, while painful, was to an AFC team, and only factors into the playoff picture as a common opponent with the other NFC East teams. The G-strings will lose another game besides our next meeting. If we take care of our own business, we can still win the East, and get the # 1 seed going in.

The most important thing is for the team to rest up and get healthy. I think they were noticeably tired on Monday.
