Bye week must do's
Ugly loss but after half of a season and going 6-3 I am happy. There are a few things that I would like the team to focus on. Feel free to add to my list:
* GET HEALTHY
* GET ROOKIE WR'S IN THE GAME
* WORK IN SELLER'S INTO THE OFFENSE
* FIX PUNT RETURN GAME
* ROGERS TO SPEAK WITH SHRINK ABOUT DROPPED INT'S
* MOST OF ALL, GET AWAY FROM FOOTBALL FOR THE WEEK
I think that if we find a way to work on these things mentioned above, we will be ready to go for the 2nd half of the season.
GO SKINS....SEE YOU IN THE PLAYOFFS

Grow a pair and learn to test a team with the best run defense with DEEP passes and learn that beating them isn't accomplished by trying to pound it and toss it to the same guy all game.

Funny, I knew coming in here that the people that disappeared when we were winning would be back waxing poetic about how after one bad game against the league's best defense that we suck.
There's plenty of bad things to talk about from last nights game, but that doesn't equal broad general statements like us needing to form an offense. We're 6-3 people.

That defense is really incredible.

But, I love being 6-3. Hell, I was hoping to get 6 wins all year.

We need WR's big time. Moss isn't going to make it through an entire season, NOBODY can/is. It's not fair that the success of this offense hinges on him.
-Zorn needs to get Devon involved. They need to put Kelly on IR and promote someone who can contribute.
- I swear if I see James Thrash in at WR one more time I'mma stop watching this team. LOLOL
- Where is Chris
ey?

Leaving him in for blocking on some plays I can see, but always leaving him in to block just makes it easier on their D. Let him chip block, then go.
I agree Thomas needs to get involved more. I thought the 4th and 1 was the perfact time to see if he can get a fade. They way the Steelers had been stoping the run and getting pressure all night, I think they knew it was going to play-action.
I firmly believe the Patriots are the antichrist.

So did Samuals! JJ had a bas game, but there was a single person on the O-line that had a good game.

Zorn should shoulder a lot of the blame for all of that.

What is it with JZ, he seems to dislike Sellers or something. Sellers has only been thrown to three times (one drop, two catchs) and I don't think he has carried the ball once.
What does JZ have against Sellers?
Only good thing that came out of that dud last night was the fact that JZ should have learned that Portis out of the backfield is not a bad option. CP had almost as mant catches and yards as he had the 8 previous games.
Yes I know a lot was in slop time, but lets be serious, CP could be a very dangerous option if a play is actually designed for him.

Nothing against Sellers, but him touching the ball is one less touch for CP, or one less catch for
ey or Moss. I do see your point though, he is a viable option, but he is usually best used in either blocking or protecting JC17

That was one of the most dominating performances I have ever seen by a deffense. I know our O played poorly, but I truely think it was more of a product of how well the Steelers played, more so than how poory the Skins played.
Still O-line needs some work in pass rushing drills. Problem is there is no one on our team that can put pressure on a QB, so there is no one to practice against.
The Steelers least effective LB probably has more sacks than our best. (do any of our LBs have a sack?)

Just need rest and get healthy. The physicality of this game combined with the stretch and injuries we've had so far contributed to this loss as much as anything the steelers did last night. These guys are worn out, beat up and mentally drained.
Dont get me wrong, the Steelers are good but, they're not as good as that score indicated. Samuel's was limping the whole 2nd half, the o-line looked slow off the ball, Jansen was getting pushed around by a LB that was giving up 80lbs ect, ect.
There are alot of issues with this team, I think most get corrected by a fresh perspective and alot of rest. When we're healthy we run the ball on EVERYBODY including the Steelers, right now we're just too banged up,with nothing left in the tank. I just hope 2 weeks is enough time to get healthy and rested.
We're 6-3 coming off a bye, we should have Springs back at 100%, Taylor healthier than he's been all year, Moss healed up, CP fresh and playing a lousy defense at home.
We're fine fellas, I believe Zorn will have some time to make corrections in the overall scheme on offense, without the distraction of gameplanning and figuring out who he has for personnel thats gonna be able to play.
DONT BE SURPRISED WHEN WE RUN THE TABLE FROM HERE!!!!

Although I'm surprised and pleased with our record, we have some deep issues offensively, and it ain't just ONE GAME. We have struggled for 4 weeks, three weeks against poor defenses.
We failed to score 20 points against the Rams who gave up 38 Philly. 41 NYG, 37 Seattle, 31 Buf, 34 Cards, and struggled against Cleveland and Detroit.
4 out of 9 games we have failed to score 20, and twice failed to score 10.
We are currently scoring less per game than we did in our dismal offense last year, while having the league's bloody leading rusher.
This is now the third straight year of struggling to score touchdowns, and no matter how many yards per game....no matter how few int's you throw, the game comes down to points. And we ain't scoring enough of them.
So no, this isn't about one game against a #1 defense. It's about an ugly pattern that has re-emerged over the past 4 straight games, and this bad movie we've watched enough of in 2006 and 2007.
