I've never been a huge Favre fan ...

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

The $20 million was offered if he stayed retired, it's not an open-ended deal

The Packers said they were going to offer it to him after he was done for the Jets, it was for appearances, bloggin and other stuff.

Again, no it was not, it was for him to stay retired:

No, it doesn't happen all the time, if it did this wouldn't be worth reporting or, in Favre's case, denying

From what i hear it is pretty common. But then again not everybody is Brett Favre and under a microscope like that. He actually has admitted to it now, but said he didn't say much. You drinkin that Favre haterade cup?

I don't hate Favre as much as I find the adulation of him to be nauseating ... and, again, this type of thing is not common. It's not common for a player to go from team A to team B and call team C who is playing team A to help team C. When Pierce left DC to go sign with the Giants, I have no question that he shared what he knew about the Redskins gameplan for the Giants, that kind of thing is common. What Favre did is beyond that, it goes to some kind of petty vengeance. Frankly, I think that sort of thing should be against the rules.

You know if Brett was telling the Jets, that's expected. If he's giving that information out to teams he's not affiliated with, just so he can be spiteful to his former team, that seems like it should be tampering.

Especially if the Lions are paying him for that information...

I have no problem with it until he talks to a team that actually has a shot of winning something. And I also believe he shouldn't have much useful info unless he is talking about the team he is currently playing for. Maybe the jets should be worried.

I read on sports illustrated saying they would give it to him when he was done, but since I can't find it u win. Favre is an idiot.

As I was saying, Al, there is this self-appointed Cup master of the universe who really knows nothing about Brett Favre and what he really stands for.

I mean, how would this Cup know how much I love this guy? He is just bashing the love of my life. Its crazy!
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
