Where's the Rush? Jason Taylor vs. Demetric Evans
Did anyone else notice just how lame the pass rush was yesterday? If Taylor isn't 100 percent, I'd rather see Evans in there. He always does a good job. Also, there were relatively few blitzes and none of them reached Bulger. When you see what the Eagles did to St Louis, you wonder why they didn't try to exploit that more.

You could tell yesterday that Taylor was not fully healthy, he played 30 snaps and he still has the stitches in his knee. He has only been 100% during the New Orleans and Arizona games and both of those games he played very well in. I think this Sunday vs the Browns or by the following Sunday at Detroit he will be fully healthy again and we will see the positive impact he can have for us by getting pressure on the QB, sacks and knocking down passes. Lets all remember that he is coming off an major calf injury where he almost lost his leg. The only advantage Evans has over Taylor is that he is much better in stopping the run. I expect when Taylor is 100%, that it will also significantly benefit Andre Carter as well and we will be getting much more pressure on QB's and sacks.
