I challenge you Kaz to go one political post without using hyperbolical comments. Maybe even refrain from using "Liberal" every 3rd word, all it does is make you look more and more like a right wing Republican extremist, which I am sure your not.

There is no bull to be cut holmes. I did not watch the debate with my liberal goggles on so my opinion is going to be different from yours. I would hope that after 35 years in office that Biden should be better well versed on issues that affect the Country. I think 90% of question dodging by Palin is excessive for you to say. She answered what she knew and basically admitted she needs to get caught up with all of the intricacies of each issue. A major part of debating is to try and keep the focus on your strong points. And honestly, any debate that you will watch from now until election day, questions asked to any candidate won't be treated as a yes or no answer. I honestly think that McCain, Obama, Biden, and Palin are all full of crap.

It is a hoot isn't it Cappster? Of course the "seasoned" DC politicians answer questions so forthright and have done such a great job that someone who hasn't been in the DC spotlight and can't avoid questions in a polished way like Biden are just scary they may not keep up the great work being done by Biden and the current high efficiency crew of lawyers running the government in DC now.

She seems like a nice lady. But hey, bottom line, she's not a LIBERAL. That makes her bad, very, very bad. And worse then that, she's a mere woman not empowered to think different thoughts then the elitist white male dominated Left which means she must be destroyed. Women, blacks, other minorities are empowered to accept, repeat and believe the Liberal ideology as explained to them by the white men. They are NOT allowed to diverge from those views as explained to them by the superior white male left mind. And of course everyone KNOWS the elitist left white men are completely correct in every way, which means the rest of us are liars for opposing them. What we say is bull because we know our pathetic counter arguments are bogus since again we KNOW they are actually correct in every way. We are selfish, greedy, ignorant Christians, even if we're not.

And my other views, government is inept and we should be free to make our own choices except for those functions only government can provide, like defense, police. But to be free to do what I want with my wallet and my body? The left isn't even with me on body supporting drug laws and opposing prostitution and other uses of one's own bodies not approved by the government. The right to take prescription drugs, hire a doctor or lawyer of my choice, work for a wage below what the government says I can, force me to join a union I don't want to to perform a whole host of jobs like unloading ships, serving drinks on an airplane, driving a truck, acting, ... Then there's how I can't buy a car directly from an auto company, I have to go through a dealer middleman. Or how bout how I can't hire someone to cut my hair, trim my nails, pick the paint color in my living room. I can't open stores w/o adhering to government approved hours. In many places I can't buy/sell alcohol as only the government can do that.

There is simply no hyperbole in that we are DROWNING in government and yet the left is begging, pleading for MORE. We are insane in this country. We are choking the free market goose that laid the golden egg.

Regardless, I hope everyone else felt as insulted as I did that McCain would pick someone that inexperienced to be our VP and potential President. It's obvious he picked her just cus Obama didn't pick Hillary and what makes it worse is that there were many other women expotentially more qualified.

I don't dislike McCain but it's clear that he'd rather give us some baloney than a true VP that he'd want. I find that disrespectful and it worrying that he's catering to the lowest common denominator.

Yes, because they did it for a lot of reasons and none of them were true policy differences. I am asking for a DIFFERENT position actually espoused by two Democrats. Not that one wants to cut and run now versus in 6 months, not that one is up for a tight election in a more moderate district and voted against the bailout, but a DIFFERENT view.

Doesn't the unending growth in the burden of government SCARE you? If I remember you are a young guy, you want starting out that you have no freedom left other then what government allows you? You want others to decide what's a "fair" amount of your money for you to keep and to spend the rest for you building their own power? You should be more Conservative then me.

In what way is Barrack MORE experienced then Palin? Being a Senator for 6 months more then she was a governor is the difference between acceptable and unacceptable "experience?" Obviously I'm confusing you with someone else on the age, can't remember who it was then. But I'm glad you "feel young" even if it's just at times. And you're right, you shouldn't discuss politics if disagreement bothers you. I love disagreement, I just am disappointed in the lack of content I get back from the Left. I don't think Biden said "nothing" it seemed to me that most of his answers were articulate and attempted to answer the question's he was posed. Palin on the other hand spent most of her time avoiding real definitive answers for anything, aside from oil drilling, and mostly used Republican talking to guide her responses.

What did Biden say that wasn't "Democratic?" I didn't see the whole thing, I work in Boston and travel home Thursday evening, but what I saw was Biden sticking to the Democratic Party script and her sticking to the Republican. Since you're saying Biden somehow went beyond that, give me one good example.

I'll tell you one that cracked me up. When he said he didn't believe you should nominate judges who differ from your ideology. That cracked me up. It certainly wasn't varying from the Democratic party script.

Beauty pageant kiss up antics in a nationally televised political debate? That's actually pathetically unprofessional in my opinion. I didn't get a 'folksy' feel to it - I just kept thinking, wow, yet another thing she can't answer...

But then again, maybe that's better than coming up with answers like, "Nuclear weaponry, of course, would be the be-all, end-all of just too many people in too many parts of our planet..."

For the rest, I know what Biden's and Obama's policies would be, but Palin hardly outlined a Republican policy. She began to talk about health care when she mentioned that McCain wants to give a $5,000 tax credit to everyone so we can buy health insurance, but she failed to defend the plan when Biden pointed out that (a) you can't buy much health insurance for $5,000, and (b) McCain would tax the health benefits we get if our companies provide insurance.

Honestly Biden was right on the money when it came to the issues. Only thing is he was so boring I fell asleep during his responses. Palin on the other hand had charm , nice smile and really dodged most of the questions by raising her own. LOL!

It is he who can charm America wins. Reagen , Kennedy and Clinton are classic examples of that.

Here is my hardcore view. There is far to much hate for Obama to win. Where do most of the voters come from? The South.
