Not only was he solid on defense, but he was great on special teams too. Hopefully he keeps this up...

I have to say that I'm a supporter of Doughty, but we've got a better SS in our ranks...

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

I'm with you. I like reed, he's solid... But after this game man, Horton is no joke, he is a playmaker. We found ourselves a gem, I admit I really liked Reed starting, but Horton is better.

After watching the game yesterday, I would like to retract my last statement and say that Reed is a liability. Every pass play he was in, Romo keyed in and passed to the man he was defending.....and it worked from Dallas every time.

I love his enthusiasm and drive, but he is just not fast enough. He can tackle well, but isn't a "hitter" and doesn't defend passes as well as others on the team. It didn't help that Horton played very well.....again.

Reed did fine yesterday...

He wasn't great or spectacular but he held his own. Sure, he was picked on but he was right there almost every time. Witten is just that good and I'm sure a couple of those passes would not have been completed with a lesser caliber TE.

Let's just keep them both on the field.

yeah not gonna lie, Doughty had a pretty decent game yesterday.. One play that comes to bind was when he had his hand on Wittens arm and was trying to break up the pass and Witten some how still caught it.. I actually like the way Blatche is using both of the safeties during the game.

Yes, that was spectacular coverage and catch. I only saw that 1 play in the 4th where reed bit on a pump fake and blew coverage. It could happen to anyone. If he guessed right, it's a pick, if not he's burnt. U gotta gamble sometimes.

On Dallas' last scoring drive Reed was the person in coverage on every catch including the touchdown, check the recording. I agree with him being a liability. Because we won some things will be overlooked, but he did not play well. He had the one play where he covered Whitten well and the catch was still made. The one pass that he broke up on the Cowboys last series involved Horton hitting Whitten. He has heart, but he also has limited athletic ability and gets beat like a drum.

I know it was prevent defense too, but he gave up large chunks of yardage.

yeah but on the 1st touchdwon of the game, it was Horton who blew the coverage on witten. i mean i admit i dont know what kind of coverage they were running, it looked like a regular man coverage with a safety zone. but Witten just ran right by Horton with McIntosh chasing him and when Horton knew what was goin on, he tried to recover but he was way too late.

I think that was Marcus Washington, not Horton.

Washington doesnt play safety, McIntosh was chasing Witten wile he ran right by a #48 with dreadlocks.. i am 100% sure it was horton.

But thats just his inexperience showing, like i said earlier tho. i am likeing what Blatche is doing with the situation. Kind of doing what he does with the D-Line, switching the safeties through out the game. it worked for the most part yesterday(minus the last drive)

It was Washington who got beat, not McIntosh. Horton went to help on another receiver and couldn't get back in time to help Washington.

Horton appears to have taken over the SS job
