After reading your response I understand what you meant now. I thought it had been a typo on the first sentence where you meant to say "I didn't used to say... but Now I do."

Does that clear everything up?

Yep, I don't think we were ever really disagreeing, just clarifying what was meant.

Add me to the list. Zorn will win between 4 and 7 games and will be unceremoniously dumped at the end of this season.
Wrong thinking is punishable.
Right thinking will be as quickly rewarded.
You will find it an effective combination.

I guess I should add my name because I don't see Snyder giving Zorn the time to succeed...So I'll eat crow if DS lets Zorn coach out his contract...he doesn't even have to win!

Luckily for you, you just skipped that patient part and went straight to the negative

ROTFALMAO

Let us say it again and see whether this time it causes any hilarity:

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

We'll have a better basis for having a position after 8 games. Right now, it's like asking which came first, the chicken or the egg. No one can answer that and prove their case.

c'mon Ray own up to it - you really wanted to see Collins in there after Campbell showed he could not do anything but get us into position for field goals

Collins is not a starting QB - he is just a very good back-up  Campbell still has to learn to get rid of the ball a lot quicker IMHO BUT he is our only QB with the ability to win games. He may not make it here if he doesn't improve that thinking process but for this year he's our QB.

This is just one game but after what has happened in the first game and the finger pointing by both players and media - this is so sweet.

I think that after the way we opened the season at home the fickle Redskins fans who thought this coach would not be able to win them over will be lining up saying "I knew this was the guy" etc. etc. etc.

great jobs by all the coaches today - Bugel, Danny Smith, Blache and especially our new HC, Jim Zorn

GO SKINS

by all means lets keep giving this thread some legs - how is crow "prepared" exactly or is it a little early for crowing

It's a little early stlil. Zorn might continue to struggle, but what a big relief it was to see the team come out today and execute.

Not sure exactly, but I would imagine it would have to marinate in something acidic....vinegar/lemon juice. It's very tough and needs something to break down the muscle fibers. Toss in some garlic and herbs and roast slowly over a flame is how I would prepare it.

totally agree FFA - just venting!

what a great way to come back after a lackluster effort at the begining of that first game - the team might still have some ways to go before we are considered dangerous but this was surely a great lift for both the players and the fans who were there.

I missed my first home opener in five years but I loved seeing how we played today. This is a really good win after a bad 10 days.

It's also best if you rub salt in it. I find that gets the flavor deep into the flesh of the crow, right where it belongs.

sorry, I didn't mention the salt because I thought that it was a given. I always use the salt.

We definitely need to fire him now. He hasn't won a playoff game yet. He's had plenty of chance.

The above statement has a bit more value when the reaction is predicted -ahead- of a win:
Redskin in Canada wrote:Wait. If they win on Sunday (and I am hoping that they will against the odds and just about any rational explanation), some fans will switch 180 degrees to predict a Superbowl wining season this year and a HOF election for Zorn down the road.

I hoped for but I did not anticipate the win and I am delighted by it. Welch and Irn Bru are right, this story will develop over the WHOLE season. This is not going to be decided by the frustration and disappointment of ONE defeat, or the euphoria and ecstasies of ONE victory.

I agree RiC - the majority of fans will be patient with Zorn and the team - I was really referring to those that make a lot of noise that know so little - seems these are the ones that the press go to because that is the direction that suits their agenda

btw - take care, wherever you are it's good to see the posts again

My co-worker that was at the game (and JC in a post-game) said that there was booing at the game. I can guarantee that there wasn't any booing at 4:15p EST Sunday...
...any given Sunday....

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

Sorry but I am on record stating that I beleive Zorn will succeed.

Truthfully it comes down to the players. I beleive Zorn brings a modern day offense to this once old school team. Just wait until Thomas and Kelly get this offense down and then things will really be good.
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!
