Pro-Football-Reference has it as a different record when you add it up.

Nonetheless, you're right. He was/is a personality-less toolbox...

Cut Carter, too, since he started off slow!!

Well, he got half a sack. So he can stay this week.

A measly half a sack?!

That's only 8 total sacks over a 16 game season. He had 10.5 last year...he's regressing.

Y'know what that means...

Taylor meanwhile had 0 sacks. That's zero sacks over the course of a 16-game season.

He'll have to go.

I guess we can't blame jason for being soft since apparently he is known for that. Where the blame lies is on Vinny.

JT got blamed a lot on stopping the run but let's also consider that our outside linebackers are not playing at a high level. The truth of the matter is that JT should not have even played. Also we are getting zero pressure from our DT's. If there is someone to question what about the dropoff in play let's consider Cornelius Griffin.

Yeah, ask Drew Brees how much JT sucks.

JT came to play against N.O.; I'm sticking to the theory that he reads message boards and this thread was his motivation

I never thought JT sucked, I just questioned the intelligence of trading for a 34 year old who has gone on record saying that he might only play for one more year.

The problem is we completely mismanaged the draft by not taking care of one of our biggest needs in an early round. When tragedy struck (Daniels going down, we had only one option: to pay through the nose for a pass rusher. Had we used our draft pick on Calais Campbell, when he fell in our laps we might not have been in this predicament. Now Campbell is starting and playing well. Hopefully, he won't remind us next week that we passed on him.

I was very happy with JT's play this week. I am not happy that we gave up a second rounder for him, but he was solid this week.

Everyone would be better off not worrying about what we already did and worry about what's happening now.

That is a tough thing to do. People are really going to worry about it come april if JT doesn't make an impact or ends up hurt.

After last week, it appears that the move was a good one. I just get very touchy when it comes to our draft picks. I am one of those people that believes that you should trade for more and never give any away.

Although I have a similiar belief system, this is one situation where I feel it was warranted. Considering the circumstances of course...

Plus if you think we would survive in this division without a pass-rush from out front four, you're sadly mistaken.

Jason is simply buying is time to find an adequate replacement.

I'm in total agreeance. I don't like trading picks, but sometimes you gotta bite the bullet, and I feel when Daniels went down, then that's what we did.

Exactly, and we actually got good value for the pick as well. Originally Miami wanted more, but when a three-way deal, involving Shockey and the G-strings, fell through, we got him for less.
