What?

The guy straightened out some things in his past.
Was he checking out high school cheer leaders when he was drunk...yes. But that was a long time ago. He is fixed now.

Hey! I used to check out high school cheerleaders when I was drunk too, and yes... that was a long time ago. Can't do it no more. Damn!

I am in a state of ecstasy! Never mind that nonsense about euphoria and so on. It is sheer, unadulterated, uncompromising ecstasy!

That's right. And I think the character issue was a big factor. Coach Gibbs and Brunell see eye to eye on the field, and off it. Gibbs knows precisely what he can expect from Brunell in the way of commitment and integrity.

Now... if the choice had been between Brunell and Kurt Warner (assuming a lower price tag), that may have been an interesting debate. I think the biggest question about both QB's is how much they have left in the tank.

Sorry Brandon it's not that I don't respect Brunell, it's that I'm very loyal to Patrick. He is a great QB and a great guy. I felt like he was our QB and anyone else signed would be back up. So I guess I feel my allegance it to Ramsey. Sorry.

It is unfair IMO to talk down on a d*mn good QB. Brunell has been solid his whole career. He is much better than Leftwich in Jacksonville. The Jags are idiots IMO, but to give them the benefit of the doubt, letting Brunell go could of helped their cap. I understand that people love Ramsey. I, to be perfectly honest never did. Ramsey has potential. But he didn't have any competetion last year for his starting job. Brunell will win out this year because he's a much better QB right now.

Ramsey maybe damn good one day, but no one knows for sure. It makes no sense not to have a veteran on the QB roster. Look at last year what happen when Ramsey was out. We had Tim Hassalback, a guy who never threw a pass in an NFL game. That's insane. For all those who talk junk on Brunell, a guy who still has talent and is a good person need to cool it. Brunell is a Redskin now and deserves respect. Will people still talk down on him if he takes us to the playoffs?

I was watching the Jacksonville vs. Baltimore replay on NFL network last night. It was back in 2000, back when Baltimore had that crushing defense. Brunell was really good. When he was blitzed and hurried, he would throw the ball away. Patrick Ramsey would cuddle the ball and take the sack, or panic and throw an interception.
Let us all gather around and drink the Cooley-Aid of the Redskins.

Ok guys Tony Kornheiser agrees with this view. He said it today on the radio. I didn't hear it but Jansenfan did and he called to fill me in. Do I get credit for knowing something now?? LOL
