QB

I predict Ramsey will start more games than Brunell this year. Just a hunch. I think Ramsey will (and should) have a chip on his shoulder which may translate into improved performance. I think he has a 40% shot to win the job outright. If he doesn't, I bet Brunell (who I also like very much) will be injured and miss at least 3 or 4 games. Ramsey could win the job that way as well. I think Ramsey has to prove to Joe that he is a team player. No more sniping about wanting to be traded, just work hard and prove he deserves the job. If he does that, Brunell will be carrying a clipboard soon.

Brunell might be starter at the first of the season...since Gibbs is really big for the veterans. Gibbs knows how great Ramsey already is...and will be.

Gibbs will allow Ramsey to learn from Brunell and give Ramsey time to rebuild his confidence again....after last year...its a wonder Ramsey is still alive.

Even tho it was a rough year for Ramsey..due to the great mind of Spurrier's offensive plan....he still showed toughness and the ability to make great decisions under pressure.

Ramsey will be the starter before the season is done, but it will be done slowly...and Ramsey will be pampered..just like he should have been. Which is great...because Ramsey will be one of the best Qbs in the NFL for a long time.

I mean in my opinion....Ramsey has been by far superior to many rookie and first year Qbs that were just thrown into the starting job..including some of the greatest..like Elway...Aikman..and so on. I'm excited to see how he will do now with Gibbs....it sucks that he won't start, but we will be thankful when it's over!!!

I think there will be a competion but it's Brunell's job to lose. But what's wrong with that? We have two great QB's and Brunell is Coach Gibbs kind of player. Smart, nice touch, can really air it, can scramble when required and a veteran. I read somewhere (ESPN, SI, or here) that he is the 9th best QB in the history of the NFL. Not sure what - TD's, completions, whatever.... He is no slouch.

And in the wings is a different but equally good QB. Flair, sometimes rash but a big arm and a unknown. He will be the future no doubt. We are set at QB as long as one doesn't go down in pre-season.

I feel this is the best QB core in the NFL or near to it. Titans have a nice deal and maybe the Rams. But this is sweet.....
