Anybody else catch the end of this game?
4th down, 2 seconds to go, the Panthers need a touchdown.
There's ol' Norv, smiling smugly on the sidelines, confident that his team has just pulled away to a 1-0 start.
I had to wait for it. Delhomme hits his reciever in the back of the end-zone and all of San Diego goes quiet.
TV stayed with Fox and his team celebrating and showed the back of Turners head as he shook hands and jogged away from the camera view.
After they came back from commercial they finally showed it. There was Norv, beaming from ear to ear, and in slow motion they showed him go from smug to horrified to dejected.
It was awesome!

There was a hold right in front of Delhomme that was not called, but yes, I did see Norval's expression change, and loved every second of it. SD had just scored the go-ahead TD, themselves, in dramatic fashion. I have Rivers as my fantasy QB, so I got the best of all worlds out of that game. The only negative is that Carolina is an NFC team, and we may be fighting them for a Wild Card spot.
