Michael Turner & Norwood = Duckett & Dunn

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Michael Turner & Norwood = Duckett & Dunn

Post by spudstr04 »

WOW! Turner and Norwood carved up the Lions' run-D for over 310 yards. After watching the highlights, they reminded me a lot of the Falcons running offense that averaged nearly 175-200 a game with Warrick Dunn and TJ Duckett. I think they have a good young core of talent and will be pressing for a wild-card in a couple of years. I was a little skeptical of Turner being a number 1 back, but he looked good in yesterday's game. With a new face of the team with Matt Ryan and Turner, the Falcons look good and might scare some people.

True, they did look good, but they'll only look this great if they play the Lions every week. Not a bad first game though for a franchise looking for some positives.
