After watching the first half of the first games...
I have noticed that we don't look so bad. The Seahawks look bad, the Patriots lost Tom Brady, and overall a lot of QBs are lookin bad. The only teams that are impressing me are the Falcons, Steelers, and Eagles. I think that every team's first week is gonna be rough and we'll just have to battle through it like everyone else.

It's early, and like spudstr said we don't look so bad compared to some of the teams I saw play yesterday. We'll know what kind of season this will be next Sunday against New Orleans. I think we've got a shot if we can establish the run early, mix in the pass and keep the defense on it's heels. Defensively we need to tighten up on our pass coverages and contain Bush. Pressure on Brees would help too.

I didn't get a chance to watch the Eagles game, but did anyone watch the Cowboys game? Short of two or three plays, it looked like Romo had a red jersey on. Yeah, he got a booboo on his chin, but other than that, he looked like he was actually having fun. Hell, him and T.O. were having a water fight...
...any given Sunday....

I'll be honest with you guys I got pretty pissed watching Joe Flacco (I live in Baltimore/it was the only game on) run that offense so well. Rookie QB, no offense, didn't get all the reps with the 1st string offense and the dude was making awesome decisions and throwing past the MARKER ON THIRD DOWN!?!?! OMG I was irrate! LOL
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

If we're talking about other teams that looked pretty bad, the Bengals might have to go to the top of the list. They had something like only 40 yards of offense in the first half, and they ended up with just 154 total yards for the game. (As a comparison, the Redskins had 209.)
They also had no offensive TDs; the only one came on a fumble return. T.J. Houshmandzadeh had 3 catches for 44 yards, and Chad Johnson only had 1 catch for 22 yards. I know that the Ravens' defense is somewhat healthy now, but those numbers are just awful.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

That line is dominant. And I hate to admit it, but man, Romo's TD throw to TO was about as pretty a pass as you'll see.

Felix is a potential homerun threat on every run. Scary stuff.
PacMan looks slow.
Felix is going to be rough....
As for Pacman, he almost had an INT as well. he'll get back up to speed, unfortunately.

Yes, his abilities are not in question. The only real hope we have is that risk of a locker-room or other off-field blowup. They've gambled on several key players, and unless something goes horribly wrong with team chemistry we're in trouble.

Was anybody surprised that the Bears went into Indy, and spoiled the grand opening of their new stadium with KYLE F'ing ORTON at quarterback?
Dallas did look good. They've got a nice one-two punch with Barber and Jones. Romo looked like he was in mid-season form playing pitch and catch with the receivers especially TO.
Eags looked good too. Brian Westbrook, Donovan McNabb, LJ Smith all the way down to their 4 and 5 receivers.
Looks like winning the NFC East is going to be hard to win, maybe we have a shot at a Wildcard.

The one game I watche of the Bears in pre-season, Orton looked pretty good.
Manning didn't practice all pre-seasonl; it was rust. I can almost guarantee he won't look like that after 2 more weeks and the Bears wounldn't have won.
