Kellen Winslow II wins "just shut up" award
Espnradio's Mike & Mike show does a just shut up award every tuesday and this week it was awarded to ol' K2. That's what he gets for talk'n smack about the skin's. He narrowly edged out the manning family. What a punk...he's a two time winner now, of course the soldier comment last season won him the same award 1st.

Truly,
I think its going to be great seeing the skins actually caring about character as a key thing in their picks. Again, the running the mouth is minor, the bigger issue is giving up on the field. My guess is we've probably seen the last of that after this season (the people that give up won't be here next year).

CBS Sportsline.....
Shortly after arriving in Cleveland last Saturday, Winslow said he planned to report to training camp on time -- as long as he got a fair deal.
"The way I see it," said the Miami product and son of Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow Sr., "you need to give me No. 6 pick money. Look at last year's No. 6 pick, and I'm in camp."
Last year's sixth selection, Georgia defensive tackle Johnathan Sullivan, got a seven-year, $19.1 million contract from New Orleans, including an $11.4 signing bonus.
The usual starting point for the next class is 10 percent over the previous year.
However, Poston has already indicated Winslow may be an exception to that rule.
"Kellen could easily be the LeBron James of the Browns," Poston said, referring to the Cavaliers' rookie of the year. "He's that talented. When you negotiate with top-value players, to come up with that value is not easy. My job is to make sure he gets a fair deal."
Last summer, the Browns had a tough time signing their draft picks, and none of the 2003 class matched Winslow's high profile.

Just remember boys and girls ..... Week 4, baby Week 4.
He can keep talking all he wants. We need a poll question (I'm computer illiterate)
Which Redskin give Winslow a concusion first in week 4?
1) Bowen
2) Washington
3) Arrington
4) Taylor
5) Any other Redskin
6) One of his own teammates

Might I offer Randy "it's not worth the effort" Moss as counter-evidence? As long as KW2 has enough talent to make some plays, he'll remain on a team (and be a plague while he's at it).
As it is, I don't think that KW2 would have passed Gibbs' treadmill test. . .and every time I hear a Poston quote I want to set something on fire.

Grow up dude. No one is out to get you!
Oh lord, I'll be there in a couple months. Please don't give anyone any ideas. I don't want to share a tent with him.
