I hoped Biden would get this. Biggest horse's posterior in the Senate. With Obama's dry, inability to think on his feet style this is a horrible choice for him. My fear was Evan Bayh would get this, he's a lot more likable. Now Obama can chalk up Delaware though.
Now I hope McCain picks a real fiscal conservative. Then again the fiscal liberal Bush did and it didn't help him. Sadly I'm not optimistic McCain will pick someone who makes him more palatable.

I'm rating him more narrowly on just being a belligerent donkey of a human being. I'm not saying I like Kennedy or Byrd more, I don't. But in terms of just being pointlessly abrasive and obnoxious in dealing with him I think he's #1. I'm not saying there's no other way to see it, you list a couple of worthy competitors. Just my view.
