Very Sad...Joe Bugel's Daughter Dies

Post by DEHog »

Joe Bugel's Daughter Dies

Daniel Snyder just spoke to the media, telling reporters that Holly Bugel, daughter of offensive line coach Joe Bugel, has died.

"She passed this morning and our hearts and prayers go out to Joe and his family. He will be leaving shortly here from Redskins Park to fly out to Arizona. We just want to wish them the best."

Holly Bugel, the second of Bugel's three daughters, had been battling a rare, aggressive form of bone cancer. Mike Wise recently wrote about the Bugel family

Sorry to hear that. Heartbreaking really. Any idea how old she was? Did she have a family of her own?

Losing a child is every parent's worst nightmare. As someone said above, at least her suffering is over. From what I have heard, bone cancer is among the most painful. The family will be in our thoughts & prayers.

God Bless you Buges, your family, and your daughter Holly. May she Rest In Peace.

I wish the Joe the best. This is the toughest one of them all, you don't expect to live to see your children die. Thats the one thing people don't expect to live in life, your almost pretty sure your gonna see your parents die, but to see your kids die is very sad. Best of luck to all the Bugels, I am sorry about your loss.

Dreadful, dreadful news. 36 is way, way too young.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom – for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Wow. At least when your grandparents and parents die you can rejoice they lived a full life and are in a better place. I always felt the loss was mine, I would miss them. Your kids dying before you is every parents worst nightmare. Once he's grieved I hope he can find a way again.

My heart goes out to Joe and his family. It makes me wonder if this will be Joe's last year. If so, thanks for the memories and best wishes to your family.
Back and better than ever!
