LANDRY, you're killing me.....

If this guy doesn't get out to practice soon, he'll be playing 2 steps behind the opponent.....I hope not. He's physically gifted enough to close the gap. He's a beast of a player in the "mold" of ST...rip.

Come on Landry, get well, get out there and kick some as5. You're on my Fantasy team too.....

Yeah, my wife and I were just talking about him last night. I think his injury is, and has been more serious than the team is letting on.

It would explain why almost all of their focus on defense this year (apart from Taylor) has been at safety.

The kid is going to be fine. He's faster at half speed than most at full. Don't be a couple of mother hens.

I dont agree that the Skins have intentionally masked the severity of this injury , why would you in pre-season?

It is however more serious than I initially thought, maybe it was mis-diagnosed? No reports indicated he would miss more than a week of practice, at least that was the impression I got.

Im glad however they are taking their time bringing him back. Id rather him be "mentally" behind for a few games at the beginning of the season, rather than "physically" behind the whole year, nursing some BS nagging injury that have plagued players on this team the last few years.

Landry is missing valuable time but, hes arguably the best asset for our defense, even as young as he is.

LaRon Landry could start working his way into practice as soon as Thursday, head coach Jim Zorn said.

"LaRon is very close and he's improving daily," Zorn said. "He'll probably start to come out and try to work through some of the practice drills."

Wow I'm suprised no one else thought of this.

The Skins are of course lying about his injury but they are not hiding the severity of the injury. I think they're allowing more time then neccesary so that we don't end up with an injured player that we badly need. If he gets hurt and is out for good, there is no one available in the entire NFL that is going to fill that spot as effectively as LaRon. We'll be just fine once the season starts!

I thought we were supposed to play our hurt players during preseason, instead of evaluating young talent.

I would rather have him healthy than rush him along too soon.

Welcome back NikiH.
