I am part of a huge Redskins fan club in Plano, Texas, which is just a couple miles north of Dallas. Every year when the Redskins come to town, our group has the biggest tailgate crowd in the parking lot. The Hogettes visit us and help throw a "beat Dallas" rally the night before the game. Our fan base is strong in the Dallas area. Every time I go somewhere wearing my Redskins stuff, someone compliments me on it. I've lived here since '89, and it's been difficult at times. I've had arguments with Randy White and Michael Irvin, I made Aikman's mother cry twice, and I befriended Larry Brown and Steve Beurlein during their Cowboy stints. It's definitely not easy living in enemy territory, but it makes it ten times sweeter when we beat them. One of my best friends is a Redskin fan, and the girl I'm dating has been a 'Skins fan her entire life. We're everywhere too. You can check out our fan club web page at
www.dallasredskins.com. If you ever want to come to town for the 'Skins game, contact someone in the club, and we'll let you know where the tailgate party is.
