Darkerian McCants!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Nice to see him still hanging around. Always liked the guy.

Good for him. I hope he makes an impact (which, on the Ravens, means being able to catch a ball that hits you on the hands).

I believe he is destined to be the career leader in receptions (number AND yards) for the crows within 2 years.

Next year he'll be on the poll for the greatest Ravens receiver of all time.

That would really be something since:
1) he hasn't played snce '05
2) His career #'s make a decent season.

is he just trying out? i kno he went to high school around the baltimore area. but you really suck if you sit on the bench as a wide reciever for the ravens behind old man mason, and mark clayton who hasnt lived up to his college success, and davard darling. what a great receiving corps that is

Darnerien McCants is his name. It is unfortunate, but he might end up on the practice squad for another team.

I don't think he's eligible. I seem to remember him being on our 53-man roster for at least 2 years. Jake? He's your boy. Do I have that wrong?

Darnerian McCants spent four seasons with the Redskins, three of those on the active roster.

Sigh. I know his name is Darnerian.

Darkerian is what Spurrier used to mistakenly call him.

I remember that quote too, and it was hysterical.

I think everyone had kinda the same reaction:

"Darkerian?"

Yes, check the post below yours.

Too much experience to be on our PS. Plus I don't think he'd want to be on it anyways.

Singing's been his real passion the past couple of years anyways but he keeps trying to go back to football. He was going to join the AAFL but it folded before it even started.
