Who's gonna wear #26?

Post by Justice Hog »

We have a lot of guys wanting this number now, don't we? Who's gonna wear it at the start of the 2004 season?

I rather like the idea of the cage match.

actually.... they just asked Taylor about if he wanted it in his press conference and he said there's tons of other numbers out there... and he'd find a new one.....

So that leaves Iffy and Portis.... If Iffy stays with the team then i think it's gonna be his..... otherwise Portis will get it....

Sean Taylor said in his intro press conference he'd find another number saying something like "There are a lot of them out there."

I was very impressed with his attitude, very humble, ready to work hard, not too caught up with himself. I think the number issue is a good example of that.

I contrast that with the attitude of KW2 who is crying about not getting picked, pledging to make the Skins pay for it this season. Don't get me wrong, I think he would have been a great pick as well, but the guy definately has an attitude problem.

Now the question will be whether he will sign by the fourth game of the season against the Skins. The Postons have already made comments that he should be paid like a number one overall pick in the draft and that they couldn't promise he'd be in camp on time.

I'm really glad we got him over Winslow. When Gibbs was answering fan Q's at the draft party he said he never told Winslow that we would definitely draft him. Gibbs had nothing but good words about him and said he told Winslow the redskins liked him but not that we were going to definitely draft him though.

Taylor's a team player who's going to help our D out, the area we need help on the most.

I voted for the cage match but I'm a wwe fan too

I watch during the off season and when the skin arent on MNF I want the best of both worlds

Iffy will keep the number Taylor and Portis will figure something out  or Iffy might sell it to Taylor and have him box Portis for it :D

Iffy has it now
Iffy has been on the team longer
Iffy was a starter last year
I think he'll keep the number unless it becomes a distraction

Taylor will hit just as hard wearing #27 or what ever number he picks

Portis can select any number unassigned as long as it dosent slow him down

Very smart of him to stay out of that mess (not like he had a chance at the number anyway ;) ).

I think Taylor would look good in #27.

Was definitely cool of him to defer it to CP in the press conference. he knows his place.

A three way ladder match instead with the #26 Jersey hanging in the middle of the ring.

Can you SMMMMMMMEEEELLLLLLLL what the Taylor is cook'in.

Will K2 get a taste of the peoples elbow when we play Cleveland????? Or will he still be holding out.
