Hello, my name is...

Post by BossHog »

... Mark, and you might remember me as a former patron of this message board.

I've been away for a while... new job... lots of crazy hours... but I haven't forgot about my THN family, in fact, I counted on them being able to hold down the fort while I started a new chapter in my life.

My thanks to those that stepped up and helped look after things, and while I will likely never get back to my former level of time commitment - I will start to come around and drop my My 2 cents My 2 cents more often.

Working like a dog, but things are going very well with the new job.

I knew I had to get a lot done between starting the new job and the Redskins regular season, so I've pretty much had my eye on the prize and have just been throwing myself into growing my newspaper.

But it was also with the goal of getting the paper to the point where I could also still have time for THN. So while I'm not there yet - I can at least start to do some off-season site maintenance and make some new staff additions and start gearing up for the new season. There may be some changes, and we may have a surprise or two in store for THNers, but we'll wait on that.

I may also have to close the board down for a few days to do a complete overhaul, but we'll try to give you a little heads up about that and make sure that you know in advance when - and we promise we will get things back up and running as fast as we can, as we always do.

Anyway, I'll be popping by more and more, and know that out of sight, wasn't out of mind.

I never liked any of you anyway.

With increased pay would come higher expectations and accountability...

... which would just lead to premature ejection.

I know that at least sounds familiar to you.

I'm definitely not Joe Jacoby.

But he is my favorite all-time Redskin. And this website was built by the staff and I to honor Joe and the rest of the Hogs, as well as serve as a haven for Redskin fans.
