Brawl at Raven's Camp....all 85 players involved!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Brawl at Raven's Camp....all 85 players involved!

Post by jazzskins »

Nearly all 85 players in camp were involved in a squabble Saturday that began when offensive tackle Oniel Cousins and defensive tackle Amon Gordon threw punches after running back Allen Patrick was taken down hard on a burst up the middle. All the players surged toward the middle of the field, and it was nearly two minutes before peace was restored.

It's a good thing that Ray Lewis didn't try to stab someone.

Sad part is that Rex Ryan was standing and laughing the whole time. Good thing we didn't hire him.

I wouldnt mind seeing a little fire in our camp. Sometimes brawl is not such a bad thing for a team like the ravens who need to change alot of things after the season they had last year.

I detest the Ryans... They are the coaching equivalent of classless cheap shot artists.

Given that, they will build a defense that has a fire in it's belly, that will play with complete abandon, and does not care who it pisses off.

Sounds like Rex's team is off to a good start. Sneer if you wish, it seems to me that the AFC North has reason to be concerned. The Ravens may not win more than they loose... but their opponents would be well served not to look past them.

On comcast last night they said it wasn't really 85 players going at it. It was more like the other 85 players swarmed around the two linemen to watch.

I wouldn't mind seeing a little fire from our camp as well. Having fun is great, but if an Offense just having fun faces a D thats going for jugular, that O is in for a rude awakening.
I firmly believe the Patriots are the antichrist.

I'm all for intense competition between the O & the D in camp, but they should do it the way CP & LL did. not by fighting.

I didn't really mean to do it by fighting either, I didn't say they should. Only said I wouldn't mind seeing some fire. However, the LL/CP race did slip my mind. Thats a good example of some friendly competitiveness.
