Right before he hit that, I said to myself: "That's the guy I want to hit the game winning home run. "

That was an incredible ending to a good game. I really wished I was there.

And how about today? A 5-run 9th inning to go up on the Phils 11-6.

Let's go Nats!

2-0, we're undefeated!!!!!!! haha but seriously i'm excited about the direction this team is going. hopefully their 2 young OF (Milledge and Dukes) can mature and become good players. i cant wait to go to some of their games.

I was thinking the same thing about Zimmerman. It's incredible that he is only 23 years old. Hopefully the Nats can lock him up for a long time. As far as the games are concerned, I was really impressed with how hard the team played and how they didn't get too down after giving up the lead late in both games. It's going to take a couple of years but Bowden and Kasten are building this team the right way and I think they're going to be fun to watch for years to come.

I agree. I am getting excited about the prospects of Dukes and Milledge, espcially Milledge but usually when I give ringing endorsements, I jinx them, so just forget I typed this.

Another nice win for the Nats, beating Philly 1-0. Redding pitched a gem and Rauch needs to be the closer even when Cordero comes back. Zimmerman went yard for the game's only run.

It's always nice to start the season 3-0, especially with all three wins coming against division rivals.
