Redskins Draft Taylor!
We drafted Sean Taylor! Yes! This is awesome! I am so friggin' happy! He is gonna be a playmaker on the defensive side for us!
Sorry SkinsFan55. I know you wanted us to get your boy Kellen Winslow, Jr. but we'll probably see him week 4 against the Browns.

It just boggles my mind, people should be jumping off buildings at the mention if this kind of terrible news.
Come on man.... Gibbs knows what he's doing.... Taylor's a Redskin now.... you can mail Winslow his jock strap that you've been holding onto this past month, back to him when he gets to Cleveland

Unfortunately he relied on Gregg Williams' imput and made the biggest mistake of the draft. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this was a coin flip decision.
THE BIGGEST MISTAKE???!!! I'm sorry but you are definitely wrong on that. Winslow will be good but K2 wouldn't have been used as much as you think. Taylor will bring great playmaking ablilties. It seems you've forgotten that defensive is our greatest need. I respect you're desire to draft K2 but saying drafting Taylor is a mistake is the worst thing you could say.
Also, Gibbs wanted both guys. Not just K2.

How do you know? Are you buddy buddy with Joe? Nope don't think so...... You can't tell me Joe just sat back and let Williams make that pick..... quit crying..... had they picked Winslow..... I don't think anyone would be crying over Taylor as bad as you are over him not being here..... Except that he's a Brown and Taylor's a Redskin now.... move on or are you one of those band-wagon guys?

Taylor is NOT the playmaker Winslow is...
Taylor will only be good for Taylor. He will not make anyone else a better player on D... he can't he plays saftey.
Kellen Winslow would have made match up problems, he would have left defenses quessing... Rod Gardner would instantly be propelled into superstar status, the holes would open for Portis and Patrick Ramsey would have been made into a top 5 passer for YEARS to come... we messed this pick up bad IMO

BTP,
I wanted what's best for Washington, and that just didn't happen here. It boggles my mind that people are actually excited about this monumentally stupid pick.
How can you call me a bandwagoner? That doesn't even begin to make sense... In fact, it makes about as much sense as drafting Sean Taylor over Kellen Winslow.

How would K2 have made more of an impact then Taylor if tight end isn't a highly utilized position on the offense?

I guess you'll never be able to see what I mean Jake, because we messed up the draft. If we had a 2nd round pick this would be easier to take, but we don't and it's not. IMO we NEED to get a young talented TE soon. Practicing against Sean Taylor could make a young TE better, but not as good as Iffy or Bowen would have been made by practicing vs. Winslow

You have got to be the most stubborn guy around..... You act like Kellen Winslow is Gods gift to the NFL and Taylor is a door mat.... get real.... Taylor and Winslow were both top rated players by EXPERTS! I don't remember you saying any thing about yourself working for a living studying college players? Gibbs knows what he's doing.....If they drafted Winslow... then i would have felt Joe knows what he's doing and he thinks that Winslow would have been the best for our team.... obviously his feelings weren't strong enough for drafting Winslow or he would have done it........
Believe in Joe, Taylor and the Redskins or feel free to go out and buy your shiney new Cleveland Browns, Kellen Winslow Jersey......

SF55 You have your head up your a$$ if you think this is a stupid pick. We have overhauled skill positions on offense and we really need an impact player on D. If we had picked KW2 I'd be okay with it, for what it would bring the team. We picked Taylor and that is going to help big time. Open your eyes man.
