Anyone remember (was it last year or a couple of years back) when they had, among others, Jansen on the show with Romanowski? Bill was talking it up, hoggin all the mic time, and Jansen actually said intelligent things when they asked him. Man I hate Romanowski. . .
I wish I could watch the draft on TV. But I'm away, and will have to follow it on yahoo.com and here on this board.

Jansen is a panelist on ESPN's Draft Central online:

why wouldn't a young QB want a 2000 yd rusher to take some presure off? a shut down CB may be more valuable overall, but any QB in his right mind would rather have a horse to give the ball to.Skinsfan55 wrote:Oh man, Kyle Boller made a rookie mistake... he said he would rather have Jamaal Lewis rather than Chris McCallister if he could only have one...
That's a boneheaded thing to do, you just don't answer a question like that...

Oh I agree with the logic, and it makes sense for him to want a HB more... but I think saying it on TV is dumb.
When someone asks you "if you could only have one player on your team, Jamaal Lewis or Chris McAlister?" You have to back away, you can't just leave a teammate hanging... that's kind of a slap in the face to McAlister

Yeah..... he made another mistake too when it was just him and Andrea.... Baltimore was on the board with there first pick at #51 and Andrea asked him if he was excited to see what they were gonna take and wanted to know if he would like them to take a WR and he said something like, "Oh yeah I would love a WR, you know Travis Taylor is basically the only weapon we have!"
Oops! I wonder how Heap and the 2nd & 3rd WR's thought about that?

He does look pretty fit, he is definitely not a typical fat lineman.
He also seemed well spoken, I was impressed. I loved the part where he was arguing with that DB from the Vikings about how the Skins got a better deal than the Broncos in the Portis trade and Takeo Spikes stepped in and told that Vikings player to be quiet because he wasn't gonna win an argument against Jansen, he PLAYS for the Redskins! lol
