does anyone know if we plan to put the franchise tag on anyone this year? or has anyone heard anything about it?

Shaun Suisham may be the most valuable UFA on the list, just needs to get his KO's deeper. Knowing the NFL - they will be kicking off from the 15.

We don't need to franchise tag suisum. He is never going to get paid in the top 3 in the NFL. We could bring in other guys to fill that role for us if need be.

Anyone remember when we franchised Sean Gilbert and he didn't take it because God told him to hold-out for $5M a yr back in the mid 90's? Classic.

yea, that sean gilbert hold out was awesome...i believe we ended up trading him to the panthers and got some nice draft picks out of the deal with which we used to draft some quality players.... back then we had a real GM in casserly though

I think he's an RFA, so if we tender him a mid level offer, anyone who signs him owes us a 1st rnd pick. I can't see anyone doing that.
