Coles is moaning again...

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

I think they should offer to buy him a Plasma TV. Maybe that will shut him up.

Gee, I wonder if Jets fans are bashing their owner for screwing over one of their players.

11 million guaranteed on the table and Coles wants more? I honestly don't think he's worth that much as a receiver, although his agent obviously feels differently.

The man has lost all sense (?since  ) of perspective. Carl Banks was initially arguing on his (Coles) behalf (?bee-haff  ) this morning, and when made aware of the 11 Mil guarantee of his last 2 years that the Jets had put on the table, he basically said "oops... never mind".

Laverneus has lost his mind.

Yes, but it's all about respect, you know? It's NOT the money, oh no. As we say over here, the geezer's a nutter.

I mean, 11 million guaranteed. . .on top of the (30-40 mil?) he's made off the rest of his career. . .that'd be a nice way to go out.

It seems to me that getting it guaranteed, in his old(er) age, is the best move. And it's not as if there will be no team interested in throwing another few million at him if he's still in good form at age 33-34. Receivers that stay in shape who have solid experience are always employable. It's the opportunity cost that surprises me.

Does he really think that he's going to get more from another team? (I suppose the answer is obvious, but still.)
