I hope I heard this wrong

Pat tillman the Arizona Crad that turned down a new contract to join Army has been killed in action

Has anyone else heard or know this to be true

Yes.... ESPNRadio just reported that CNN reported that he was killed in Afghanistan...

I am so sad! This guy have such a great character. A very big loss for us as a nation. Not that any of the other lives lost were any less. Just sad.

I am totally bummed by this. All the talk that surrounds the draft and how these college players are ready to take this 'big step in their lives' really pales in comparison to this.

My sympathies go out to the Tillman family and to his fellow Rangers.
