REDSKINS: PRO BOWL CAPTAINS

Post by cooleyfan47 »

all three redskin players in the pro bowl just called the coin toss for the NFC. Pretty cool to see, with their 21 jerseys. Ethan Albright looks real ackward.

Really. Every time I looked up, Romo was only throwing to his teammates. I know he threw a TD pass to Fitz, but geez, spread the ball around dude.

He was on the starting line-up due to his performance up to the time of his murder. Post-humously respected in the Pro Bowl b/c he was leading the league in INTs and performing at that level. I don't see him being Pro Bowl MVP doing anything but trivializing the tribute that was given to him by the NFL and the fans this year.

Well Adrian Peterson and I respectfully disagree with you. As he said ST was the real MVP.

When was the last time or the first for that matter that this game had any kind of meaning??? Answer...this year! Why...Sean taylor!

People are just trying to honor the cat man, why turn it into a negative. AP wasn't trying to get any fame or credit for what he said... Darren Sharper and Witten weren't trying to benefit from showing some interest in Sean Taylor the man/father/human being, they're just being respectful.

Maybe MVP went deeper than stats and yards for AP this year. Maybe Seans death touched him and many others in a way that none of us are privy to. Maybe AP felt that he was inspired by Seans attitude on the field and felt that he wanted to get out there and put forth his all in tribute of Sean....

It makes sense for AP to feel that way and why fight it? It was just the final page in a sad story to close the season.

Some people still grieve over it, some still don't want to believe and some others still want to honor the dude. I can only speak for myself but I stopped playing Madden after his death cus I only used him. I hadn't played for 2 months and entered a tournament, won it and haven't picked up the sticks again. I just don't feel good about football right now. I had no desire for any form of football after his death... To each his own. I don't think anyone is trivializing his death. It's not like anyone is pimping his death to make a quick buck.

It all started with the ST signature "hit" on Moorman last year, I can't remember players saying, I'm going hard every play in the pro-bowl before that.
