The NFL season is offically over......

What a season.

First i just want to say yes i am pretty new here, but at the same time i've been a redskins fan for a long time now and this season was really one to remember.

We had good moments and my God we had bad moments...

With the exception of the 1 blowout to the Pats we were in every game this year, that was good to see...wished we won more of those but with Jason progressing the way he is and the help of Zorn he will for sure get better this season, especailly closing out a game.

Portis came back in a big way this year, OL throughout the injuries stuck together and did a fine job....Moss started to regain his old form closing out the year, wheather we need a TRUE #1 WR, i leave up to debate.

D looked really strong... Fletcher was amazing...Landry just gonna get better, Daniels was good but i think hes coming to a end.

We have a solid team but the addtions to make it better, again i leave to u guys for debate......

But we lost a player this year.....not to free agency, not to injury , not to retirement..............but to death.

Sean Taylor was a great player, a great teammate, a great man , i still watch the tribute videos today, i still read the articles of his passing ....I still cant believe he's gone. I will miss him so much.

I will remember this year forever as i'm sure all of you will too.

We are all fans of this great franchise but Sean's passing made us turn to eachother like family, I will never forget that.

Already this year there has been huge changes , Gibbs retired, saunders and williams are fired, new coach........

But whatever happens.....i will forever remember this season......I will forever remember Sean, and i will forever remember us FAMILY OF FANS.

I agree with your post and all the points you make are all good. It's nice to read something positive about the team. Most of the stuff lately (maybe not so much on this site) has been negative. I am happy to have a team to root for. Last was good and bad and I know for usre no one could have predicted the way it went down. I wish everyone would shut up back and let the prove if he should be here or not. He was a very good player I remember watching his against the Skinz in the 80's when footbal was football and not all hype.
