Quick trivia...

Post by wormer »

I saw a George Michael (NBC 4) post a few days ago and it got me thinking of a good trivia topic.

3 questions:

A. What movie in the 1990's did George Michael appear in?
B. What was his characters name?
C. What was his characters profession?

3 correct answers will get you my undying respect as a movie trivia expert...

Hints: Movie came out in 1991 & it was on HBO last night (4/18).

More hints: Movie stared Anthony Hompkins...

I know he was in There's Something About Mary. All he did was just do his show while Cameron Diaz was listening to him. You couldn't see him, though.

Bring the painb has 1 out of 3 right. He played a sportscaster. Wrong movie, he did not play himself.

I think it was a rodeo movie - 8 seconds? Luke Perry was the "star"...

So far no one is right. He did play a sportscaster. He had a different name, the movie stared Anthony Hompkins & was released in 1991.

Sorry BTP.... I hope you were not too traumatized down thier in Fredericksburg. So, you must either work for GEICO or at the Stucky's right? Those are the only two things in Frednecksburg that I know of.

Yes it is huge, It seems they built a small city.... but forgot to build main roads to get to the city..... Everything surrounds route 3, and thats basically the only road to get anywhere..... and I don't even dare venture near there during the weekend, around daylight hours.... If I need to go north.... i usually go south first towards Massaponex just to get around the mess.....

It was Silence of the Lambs & he did play a sportscaster. He DID have a name though. It's a bit tricky becase his aprearance is on a TV that is playing in the background in the FBI headquarters.

He is also in 8 seconds, again I'm pretty sure he played himself as he actually covered Lane Frost during that time period.
