Nice too.

I knew that Tiki barber had been a Gibbs/Skins fan earlier in his life.

It's nice to hear, but not really surprised. The Burgundy and Gold had the fans and the TV's on lock from DC south to SC for the longest time (which is why we used to "Fight for Old Dixie"). Went to college in Hampton Roads, and all the natives I knew loved the Skins. Down in Charlotte now, and although they "claim" to be Panthers fans, they used to root for Washington...and still do, deep down inside :)

Appreciate Plax showing the respect, esp. at a time where it might actually have an impact.
Two formation shifts, one man in motion, and a counter trey...those were the days...

Per Fan House...
"I figured, just put him the f--- in already," Zimmerman told me. "I'm tired of being the a--hole."

Sorry, Z-dung. You may vote for the man, but, you are still what you are. Some stink is just permanent.

Wow here I thought that you always root for NFC east, or any NFC that is in the superbowl.....Well except the Cowpukes anyway.

And I do. Maybe even the Cowboys, given the classy way that their organization dealt with the murder of Sean Taylor.

Every year, I want to see my team beat the Giants and Cowboys twice. Philadelphia has such a putrid fan-base that I don't think about them. Then, it's NFC East first, and, as you notice, NFC over AFC.

However, if I discover, as we did, that a player on the Giants is a long-time Art Monk fan, then he goes to the top of my list...and that's another reason why I hope the Giants beat the New England Cheats. Although having Monk voted into the Hall is enough Redskin sunshine for my week!

I have the same philosophy. I hate the other NFC East teams with a burning passion, but I'd rather see one of them win the Superbowl than any other team out there.

They're like our retarded cousins. We may be slightly ashamed of them, but they're still related to us.

Plax is from the tidewater area, Antonio Pierce was once a Skin, we seem to trade players year in and year out with Philty, so what the hey is dallas doing in the NFC east.

Monk is the epitome of HOF... He waited gracefully, humbled himself, never had anything bad to say even when as he was ripped for stats etc... He is an amazing player, and a Role model.

Sooooo.. because a player roots for our guy to get in the HOF means you have to cheer for that team? Really? I guess its just me but the only NFC teams I cheer for are the Redskins and which ever teams are beneficial to the Redskins. In this paticular case its the Pats vs. the Gnats. I don't really care for the Patriots but imagine me, 2 Skins flags on my car, a Skins helmet on my hood, and my Skins jacket saying go Gnats? Dag, just the thought makes me wanna throw up my lunch. Oh, and people are excited because the guy who roots for Art catches the winning td? REAAAALLLYYY????

Gotta love our fans.. LOL

Yes. That's how it is. If a player grew up a Redskion fan, then I have a special regard for him. If, on top of that, he helps bring down the arrogant Patriots, even better. If his team is in the NFC East, even better.

In the SB, I will root for the NFC, because the Redskins are an old NFL, rather than AFL team.

That's my priority.

And, yes, I know where the Tick Tock is. University Blvd and Riggs Road?
