All that talk of teh Sox and Yanks, and the Mets were the sleepers. As a Sox fan, this is best case - the Yankees don't get him, and we don't have to give up Bucholtz (sp) or Ellsbury. Better yet, he's in the NL, and we only have to worry about him in Game 1 and Game 5 (if necessary) of the '08 WS.

(okay, just kidding about the '08 WS stuff)

The O's made out much better with Bedard than the twins did with Santana. The Mets didn't even have to give up the best player in their abysmal farm system.
