Vote: Giants or Patriots

Who would you like to see become the next superbowl champion. Personally, I didn't want either one of them in the big game but realistically, one of them has to win. I go by the team I dislike the most to lose. I can't really bring myself to want one of them to win but I would like to see one of them fall flat on their face. I want the patriots to lose and the only bad part about that is the Giants would win. Therefore, I pick the Giants to win Superbowl XLII with a sick feeling in my stomach. I am going to go throw up now. :puke:

Both teams beat the Skins, so OF COURSE they must be the best two teams in the whole world.

The Patriots are in a different class altogether. They will win.

I want the Pats to win because usually Super Bowl losers fall apart the next year.

I have wanted the Patriots to lose any of the last 5 or 6 games - now that they are in the Super Bowl against the giants I want the Patriots to win.

I would have been cheering for the Packers or even the pukes to beat the Patriots but I hate the giants - cannot stand that little idiot coach or the stupid QB - I hope the giants embarrass themselves - i don't even want to see a good game
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Oh no, after posting how stupid the Giants are I learned my lesson. NO more predictions. No siree. Not for me. I just want a good, clean hard hitting game.

Yeah right, the Gnats don't belong in the Super Bowl and the Pats are going to PROVE that! And BIG!

Go Pats!

I don't know if the Giants can score that much... 10 is quite a bit

There would be no greater justice in the world than for the pompus Patriots to lose to the lesser Manning.

how would that be justice? i mean what have the Patriots done. besides that whole accident in week1. They've beaten everyone that theyve played and most of them convincingly. and i think theyll do the same thing here.

No, here's my favorite scenario.

Eli Manning throws 4 or 5 interceptions by halftime, getting benched. Patriots up, Boston begins to celebrate. Eli Manning cries on the bench.

Jared "The Battleship" Lorenzen comes off the bench, and rallies the Giants to a SuperBowl victory. Eli Manning still cries on the bench.

You get, wrapped up in one game: Patriots losing, thus sending Boston into deep mourning; and Eli Manning crying.

How perfect is that? I mean, they both can't lose...and I'd rather the Giants win than Sweatshirt Bill & Saint Tom have a perfect season.

I think the Gnats have a legitimate shot, so I voted for the first one. If I was a gambling man, I'd take them and the points. If they approach the game with the right mindset of "smack Brady in the mouth and take our chances" as opposed to "try to limit Brady to the short stuff", then anything can happen.

Plus (and the most important reason), everytime the Gnats win the Superbowl, The Burgundy and Gold rise up and take the 'chip the next, because we always gotta stay one up on those bums :)

For all the criticisms Tiki Barber threw at Eli, Coughlin and the entire organization, it looks like he retired one year too soon. ROTFALMAO

I'm predicting the Pats. Maybe that's wishfull thinking. I've been rooting against the Giants since before the Pats or Cowboys existed.

Well, it just go es to show that the Giants are significantly better without Tiki and Shockey clogging up the huddle with their egos.

Just an observation, but the team that won the Super Bowl just moments ago was the team that continued to wear the #21 sticker on their helmets throughout their push to the NFL Championship. Taking nothing away from what the G-Men accomplished today, it was noticeable that the team with the most #21 stickers on their helmet won the game.

RIP Sean Taylor, #21. We will miss you and the spirit you brought to the game. I hope that that spirit will continue to be a driving force for the Washington Redskins always.

Hail!

I've seen the error of my ways, and have repented.

I should have abstained from picking, since I could not root for a NFC East foe in the Super Bowl.
