tell me why Saunders is out if GW is named HC???
Is it because Al wants to be a HC? Is it a personality and philosophy difference between Al and Gregg? What???
Someone please.....

Where are these rumors coming from - most here have indicated that it seems as though Saunders is not really interested in being a HC anywhere - the question was asked if Williams and Saunders could work together OR if there were any indications that they might not be a good fit - but apart from that I have not seen anyone here think that IF Williams is the HC then Saunders is out as the OC

I place little to no validity on reports from any media source - there are a lot of fans here at THN that know a lot more than any media source - actually there are a lot of fans here that, in my opinion, know really very little about what is happening OR have an agenda that is based in ancient history that still are more in touch than any media source.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Hey guys (and gals), it has been a while since my last post.
I hope that this front office gives Al Saunders at least another year to work with the offense. Look back at his KC days and observe that in the 3rd year his offense really took off and was among the top in the league for several years. If those teams had a half decent defense (we have a top 10 D), they likely would have won a Super Bowl.
J. Campbell is progressing nicely and his progress could be stunted if we change OC's and systems once again. With a few minor roster tweaks (together with the annual restructuring of contracts) this team is ready to take the next step.
Look at the entire NFC, you can't tell me that the 'Skins aren't as good or better as any of these teams. The Giants are going to the Super Bowl! The Giants! Need I say more?
With these guys, you never know...

Dan or anyone who feels we need to let our OC go is flat out stupid. Please rave about continuity. If you hear them asked, "Why were you so successful." They normally will include continuity. Don't do anything foolish Dan. Sometimes I wish our owner were not a fan. He manages with his heart, not his head.

THAT is his biggest problem.
-Letting Al Saunders go would be retarded.
-Doing anything to jeopardize our current core of players/coaches would be retarded.
I believe that Daniel Snyder is retarded and will not be shocked if he does something stupid. I have conditioned myself to deal with it and keep it moving.

Who's more of a retard, the BILLIONAIRE owner or the fan/s that itch and moan about the owner, yet still line his pockets by buying HIS merchandise, HIS tickets, and cheer for HIS team?
He might not know a thing about football, but he's far from retarded. Not picking on anyone in particular, but that quote above is just sour grapes.

Back and better than ever!
I don't think it's sour grapes. I think he is speaking from experience.REDEEMEDSKIN wrote:I believe that Daniel Snyder is retarded and will not be shocked if he does something stupid.

Today's Lesson:
THIS would be sour grapes:
"It won't matter if Snyder does the smart thing because we will lose anyway."
You see, the Fox could not reach the grapes and said it didn't matter because they were probably sour anyway.
Most people say "sour grapes" when what they really mean is "sore loser."
Put another way:
The Fox and the Grapes is a fable attributed to Aesop. The protagonist, a fox, upon failing to find a way to reach grapes hanging high up on a vine, retreated and said: "The grapes are sour anyway!" The moral is stated at the end of the fable as:
It is easy to despise what you cannot get.
The English idiom "sour grapes" - derived from this fable - refers to the denial of one's desire for something that one fails to acquire or to the person who holds such denial. This behavior is known as rationalization.
In colloquial speech the idiom is often applied to someone who loses and fails to do so gracefully. Strictly speaking, it should be applied to someone who, after losing, denies the intention to win altogether. The phrase is often misused by those unaware of the original story, who imagine it refers to general "bitterness" or "resentment".
Chris is just telling it the way it is in terms of football decisions and the Danny.
