Who is the mystery candidate?

Post by PMG12569 »

We all know how Snyder is. I just want to know who this mystery candidate is. They mentioned something about it on the CBS pre-game show today and i looked it up and found a few articles referring to this mystery guy. If the press doesn't know who it is than I am sure none of us do, but who do yall think?

Well... this is pretty inside info... but I saw Dan Snyder and Vince Lombardi having lunch at Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands.

Yes... Snyder's millions can bring a man back from the grave.... (or so the media loves to speculate).

Well, guys I'm not sure who this is I have been wondering during the whole NFC game. But someone that I talked to brought up MAYBE Jimmy Johnson. I'm not saying that he is the mystery guy but I thought it was pretty interesting

Well if there really is a mystery candidate that they haven't yet interviewed, then it would make sense that it is someone that was coaching this weekend and therefore couldn't be contacted before now. I believe that even coaches that are still alive in the playoffs can be interviewed this week. That is why I suggested that it could be Spagnuolo or McDaniels. But at this point, we don't even know if there is a mystery candidate. Who knows where Jay Glazer even came up with this info.

That would be interesting, but I doubt Jimmah will coach anywhere where palm trees don't grow.
I'd also worry about him Saban-ing the 'Skins after 1 or 2 years, and we all remember that in his last game his Dolphins got shellacked by the Jags and gave up 60+ points....
With that being said, it'd certainly be interesting to hear a "How 'bout them Redskins!" in the locker room after a Super Bowl win....

No JJ please...The McDaniels(OC New England) sounds interesting though...But I didn't think you could interview a coach until they were knocked out of the playoffs...

You can't during the earlier rounds, but because there are 2 weeks between the championship games and the Super Bowl, coaches can be interviewed during this week.
