Latest ESPN Mock Draft

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Has us taking Limas Sweed. That would be a nice pick for us.

I really hope that Hardy is there and I really hope they realize how underrated he is. Gibbs is out, so him being picked becomes a possibility. The dude is 6'6 and lightning quick.

S weeds like another larry fits. But really now why give up the chance to acquire a [possible great DE pass rusher like Campbell or Harvey?.There is alot of good WR's this year so we can take our time in our 2nd round.OR we can trade up and get another first round pick to get the best available WR.

because he already has campbell and harvey off the board by the time we pick...and that's the ONLY reason i would agree with taking sweed. but if harvey or campbell are still available i say draft one.

Scouts Inc. really rates them both pretty high. I would expect some of the offensive players to move up after the combine, Qb's and WR's usually do. I'm not sold that 4 DE's are going to be off the board before we even get a chance to pick. I still think WR is a much bigger need though, being we have wilson in passing downs to help carter out and he does a great job. We don't have a single WR who can outmuscle or outjump a corner, and that is just sad.

This isn't Madden football, you have to be able to pay for the moves you make. We're going to struggle to even find the money to sign our existing roster, and you want to move up and grab another first round pick?

How do you suggest that we afford such a move?

But hey, I'm sure that you will just skip this question like EVERY OTHER QUESTION that I have ever publicly posted to you... because at the end of the day, there's just absolutely no logic, reasoning or thought put into the vast majority of your board posts. My 2 cents
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I'm not sold on the fact of us keeping our pick at 21. Like BH said above me we are strapped financially on our existing roster. Unless we can get exactly the player we want (none of this best available stuff), I say trade down for multiple picks. If we get lucky some team may want a player and give us a deal like Cleveland gave Dallas. There are no guarantees even i the first round.

And why are you telling me this?.......I didn't even come close to terms about madden trades or nothing. We should trade up or down to get good useful picks but a DE is a must ,more important than a wr for right now.

You didn't answer the question.

How do you suggest that we come up with the money to sign an additional first round pick (as you are suggesting we try and get) when we are already overspent by some 20 MILLION dollars?

And don't say 'cut the old guys'... it's not even close to that simple. And if you are going to say, 'cut the old guys' then tell us wha the cap savings will be when we cut them and see if it adds up to twenty million dollars.

Then find me 5 more million to sign our draft picks... then another couple of million to sign this additional first rounder that you are suggesting that we get.

As I said, this isn't Madden football... at the end of the day, REAL NFL moves have to be fiscally possible... financially plausible... not just the wanton cravings of an armchair quarterback.

Don't forget that he wants us to sign Haynesworth and Marcus Trufant (or another top-tier FA CB) also.

By the way, por-tiz2skins, what is a made-up quote with my name doing in your sig? You didn't like how I picked an actual non-sensical quote from you for my sig, so you wanted to retaliate...but I tend to write in English, so sadly you had to make up one for yours, with a sexual connotation? Weak.

I mean, the best part of it, is it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, like every other one of your posts. Seriously, it's pathetic.

How old are you? 15? 16? I mean, I weep for the future of our country knowing there are many more kids out there like you. Though I guess we will always need people to make fries for McDonalds...
