Javon Walker is leaving the Broncos

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Javon Walker is leaving the Broncos

Post by por-tiz2skins »

Vikings S Darren Sharper, who speaks with Javon Walker almost daily, says Walker wants out of Denver.
"I know all about it," said Sharper, who played on the Packers with Walker. "He wants out. He's not happy. He wants the ball. He doesn't feel like he's part of the offense." Sharper's Vikings could make a trade offer for Walker, but his value is at a low coming off an injury plagued season.

In reality he really wants to leave simply because,of does bad memories of Darrent Williams....basically wants to start fresh? any one interested?.

No. Id love to have him or any really good WR but thats not the decision that needs attention. We need line help on both ends first and foremost.

I think Jevon is a very good receiver. I do belive that we need a receiver that will scare the opponent. Like a Terrell Owens, Jerry Rice, Art Monk, atc

I don't think he's that good.

Passing on a WR to save money for a potential lineman is a bad idea. Strike while the iron is hot. If Walker is available for a good price then snap him up.

I don't think so either. I think that he is a good receiver, on the other hand I think that the Redskins need a big play receiver

Owens didn't really scare the Giants, now did he? He's going to be watching the rest of the season just like all of us - at home on his TV.

Edit: And do we really want another WR who's pouting his way off his second team? Javon Walker has free agent bust written all over him.

Well think about this,if we do get him (and we probably are)than we can save one of our round picks(most likely the 1st or 2nd) and instead of drafting a WR"which hasn't done us good for 17 years now"than why not draft a bigger need.

If we get Walker well already see a explosive WR and hes shown that in Broncos.I believe the injures has past him now and well be healthy. And well be able to draft another need like CB or OL in the 2nd round. If Walker comes in the right direct price than snag him.

Didn't he also miss basically an entire season in GB with a knee injury. Walker has been with 2 teams and has not been happy at either place. If we were stupid enough to bring him here it would be 3 teams that he would not be happy with. Two knee injuries in 3 years should scare the heck out of us. We are better off to draft young talent instead of trying to spend money (we don't have) on an often injured discontented WR that is not an upgrade over what we have.

Wanting out is a whole lot gifferent than being a free agent. We would have to trade to get him.

Not saying its a bad idea to get him but to get a injury prone WR when our #1 WR gets hurt every once in a while to me isn't a smart move. Don't forget there's some young guys coming out of college that may be a wise move to grab and get trained by our new coach while he's still fresh; compare that to Walker who might be a little reluctant in certain ways? :feedback;

If we can get him cheap, I say go for it. Maybe a 7th rounder or trade Loyd for him.

Who cares?

I hope we dont go for the trap and go for this guy.
He has talent there is no doubt. He has not been healthy for two years consecutively.

I would rather have Chad Johnson if we are going to sign free agents.
I prefer a drafted wide out over any of the free agents. Also consider everyone is going to be learning a new system so might as well stock up on receivers as well.
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!
