Reports: Pacman accused of hitting woman in club

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Reports: Pacman accused of hitting woman in club

Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been accused of hitting a woman in a strip club in the early-morning hours of Jan. 3.

Wanda Jackson, an Atlanta defense attorney, filed a report with Atlanta police against Jones, according to reports out of Georgia and Tennessee. WSB-TV in Atlanta first reported the story on its Web site.

Jones is accused of striking Jackson inside the Body Tap Strip Club. He has neither been arrested nor charged.

According to reports, Jackson is handling a divorce case that involves Jones. On Jan. 3, the two began arguing in the club and Jackson has alleged that Jones punched her in the left eye.

Last April, Jones was suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the entire 2007 season for his role in inciting a Las Vegas strip club fight that led to a triple shooting last Feb. 19. The shooting left one man paralyzed.

Jones pleaded no contest in early December to a disorderly conduct charge in that case, agreeing to a year of probation, random drug testing, community service and anger management classes.

In mid-December, the NFL rejected an appeal by the players' union on behalf of Jones to have him reinstated for the final two games of the regular season.

At the time of his suspension, one of the changes Jones told Goodell he intended to make was to stay out of clubs and to avoid situations in which he might be compromised. Goodell has said that he has apprised Jones that he will ultimately be judged by his actions, not his words.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

I don't know if it's true, but most will assume guilt. Pacman is a dumbass for even being in a strip club given his history and what's at stake.

I completly agree with you. I did defend him earlier last year but I am done. With his history he should not even be in any kind of bars.

With his history, he should not continue to punch women. My 2 cents

If this turns out to be true, he's probably looking at a lifetime ban, which would set up a showdown for the ages between RoboCommish and the players' union

Well, let's be real, the woman was in a club called "Body Tap" which alone seems to promote physical contact, and she was hit in the eye, so she should've seen it comin'. :P

Seriously, does this guy ask for his paychecks in $1 bills?

What a waste of talent.

This guy will be lucky to play again - I heard that there were a lot of players who are really not happy with the trouble and negative stuff that is associated with this guy - he was the one that said he would stay away from places like this  Now! maybe somebody called him and said "the only place we can meet is at this club" ... and he just had to go there and ..... never mind - this idiot should be banned for life - he is not just asking for it he is begging for it
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

She probly refused to take her clothes off, being a lawyer and all, even though he offered to "make it rain on her", so he punched her in the eye.
