Time to get fired up...

Post by BossHog »

... with a little 'Cartoon'.

In 2005 when we faced the Seahawks in the playoffs, I did up a little slideshow to Exorcist Apocaliptica. Being that my time these days is short, I changed it up a bit to come up with a new one.

Personally, I just love the piece of music and it always gets me fired up!!!

Visit the Redskin Cartoon section to check it out.

Also, I was having issues with the 'send-to-a-friend' button in the cartoon, so I removed it. You'll have to 'recommend it' via the old-fashioned way and just e-mail people the url. However, i did post an entry to our articles database about posting the cartoon, so just sending someone a link to the front page of the site should also suffice.

This isn't exactly the place for it, and I'll make a more detailed post on it later in the Site News forum, but you'll also notice a few changes to the articles page.

The Digg button at the bottom of articles is gone. Fear not, you can still digg anything we do (and we appreciate it) but we also wanted to give people the ability to share our content through other social bookmarking sites. So at the top of each article under the title, you will see icons and links to MANY different social networking sites. ALL of the links should be dynamic in that f you click on one of them, it should automatically send the url and the title of what you are sending - you'll usually just have to fill in the description. This way, you're free to put whatever you want in the description in the way of a promotion or a summary, or even a 'this sucks.' :-) We have checked all of the links to ensue that they are working for you, so please feel free to use them to recommend our content to any social network that you belong to. Thanks.

Heard and saw it today. Stirring my emotion that's for sure. Carmina Burana -always- works. I BELIEVE!

Four more to go!!!

Thanks BH!
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I believe - I'm probably setting myself up for a major downer but I really believe we will win this game

4 more - we are halfway there
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I am so pumped! Start the count down 24 hours! I'm very nervous but I really and truely feel that we'll be in the superbowl this year. I predict that we'll be playing the Bucs in the NFC Championship game and Indy in the SB. Call me a dreamer but thats what my crystal ball says.

Thanks everyone.

... what a great piece of music... it just evokes such strong emotion... you could flash pictures of kittens and puppies playing in cotton, and I'd still want a scythe or a pick-axe.

Is that wrong?

I'm also not afraid to admit that when the music hits the last stanza and the cymbals start crashing... I sit here like an idiot and pretend that I am smashing cymbals. What a geek eh?

Go Skins.

You're not really air drumming if you're not hitting cymbals.
