1: Neither has Collins:
Code: Select all
YPG PTS/G
Bears 28 16
Giants 6 14
Vikings 19 10
AVG 18 13
2: Campbell has absolutely played three consecutive games against teams with an average rank of 18th in YPG. Weeks 5, 6 and 7, for example, Campbell faced the Lions (32), Packers (10) and Cardinals (20). For the record, Campbell had an 87.4 quarterback rating, and the team went 2-1.

Collins struggled against the Giants (yes it was windy and that was clearly a huge factor in his struggles) so talking about a 3 game snapshot in misleading. He was great against the Vikings but this is a very limited body of work.
1: I don't know how you define "very high level", but Collins was outstanding against the Bears (15-20, 224, 2/0) and much more effective than Campbell (10/16, 100, 0/0).
2: Yes, it's a small snapshot. My point is that Collins' small snapshot is better than any small snapshot Campbell has ever had. Campbell's played twenty games in his career with the Redskins, and never won more than two in a row. Collins has played three, and won three in a row. If the question is who is more likely to win four consecutive games in the playoffs, the answer has to be Collins.
