Why are the Ravens playing at 4pm? There is no one thats going to watch that game!
Aarrgghhh!
And once again for me too....another wasted weekend having the Sunday Ticket....I feel your pain brother, but at least you didn't senslessly pay to be able to watch the game when it's going to be broadcast anyway. UGH!
Why is an AFC game on CBS keeping you from seeing an NFC game on FOX?
The rule is something like, if the local team in your area is playing on ether FOX or CBS then the other network is not allowed to show a game opposite it.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

I'm not sure that's true. Maybe that's only on double-header days. Anyway, if that's the case, go to a bar, and watch with other Skins fans.

Help me here. I am in New York this weekend for my sister-in-law's wedding. Does the grey mean I can't watch the game but if I was back home in Florida I could have seen it?

The rule is (using the Redskins in DC as an example):
If Fox-5 is showing a Redskins home game, it is to be the only game on in DC at that time. That means CBS-9 can't show one. (That's a lot of the reason why we get a boatload of AFC West games at 4:00).
BUT.... If you look at the UPDATED map at the beginning of this thread, the NFL just relaxed the home-game/opposite-network blackout for the three cities that had a home game flexed into the 4:15 hole:
Baltimore
New York
Washington
That means the Redskins-Cowboys game WILL BE SHOWN on Fox-45 in Baltimore and Fox-5 in New York City.
(And if you give a damn, Steelers-Ravens will be on CBS-9 in DC as well )
