Here we come Seattle!

Post by Cappster »

After we pummel the cowboys this week, we are going to give you some much needed payback Seattle! We haven't forgotten what happened a couple of years ago in the playoffs. This time will be different. This time we are going to come into your house, push you around, and then head to Dallas to smack them around a little more.

Hail!

Save what? The positive attitude I am giving towards making the playoffs and smacking around our opponents? Fortunately, I am not on the Redskins roster so I don't have to "just focus" on this week's game. I truly believe we will beat the cowboys because our team is focused on beating the cowboys and we have Gibbs at the helm. As a fan, I am dreaming of a payback game in Seattle and this time we have a guy that can run the offense at quarterback.

OK, maybe your right. I will focus on Dallas. I will focus on Dallas because we are going to smack Dallas around this week, smack Seattle around next week, and then the week after we will smack around the Cowtirds again! Dallas will be my main focus because we will play them in 2 out of the next 3 weeks!

We can only play -one- team at a time. Do not spoil the moment. I just wish to enjoy the win against the Pukes on Sunday first. One step at a time.

But save the thread, it will be timely on Sunday evening and onwards next week.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

I hope Dallas starts there starters the whole game cause where better than them in reality.Only thing diffrent was that they where healthy and had an explosive WR like T.O but look what happened they dont got that.

So I guess Jason Well have to wait next year for his revenge.

The NFL and Skins/Cowboys Owners love this match up. Rivalry game to decide if a team goes into the post season. I'm sure Gibbs will have a few vet's come in and give this team a heart to heart this week. Manly, Green, Riggins, etc. Got to get these guys fired up. I want to see our players HATE the Cowboys and want to crumble them Sunday.

Diron Talbert. If Gibbs wants a motivator, who can generate a genuine, old fashioned, fire-breathing, George Allen style hate for the Cowboys, that's his man. No one player is more responsible for the power of this rivalry.

He just, plain HATED (perhaps even HATTED, it was that extreme) Dallas...

Probably still does.

Its good days in redskin land but overconfidence can bring it all crashing down so dont go ASSuming just yet cuz you might make an ASS outa yourself. But anyway the redskins have been red hot and have hit their stride at the perfect time and if they do get to the playoffs they have a real shot at going to the super bowl in the wide open NFC. Couldnt have picked a better time to be scorching.

There is no doubt in my mind that this team is focused and preparing to play and to win this week's game - we are a very formidable team right now because the Redskins' players and coaches believe in their hearts and minds that they cannot lose this game

we are not showing up to play anymore, we are playing to win and we are playing together - with this team and this coach and this attitude, we are a force to be reckoned with

these guys need no more motivation than the belief that they are playing for each other and Sean - they will not be denied

This is Dallas Week - it's their turn to find out what it's like to face a team that feels it and will not be denied our time

HTTR
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Good idea but if i think redskin nation is already pumped up about this weekend and what it means for the season and where we might go and not to mention from where we have come from this season from terrific start to tragedy and hopefully to triumph. And last but not least who we have to go through to get to where we want to go. Iv been pumped since about 12 oclock last sunday night.

Yes, because fans being overconfident can make the players on the team not play well.
What is wrong with fans looking ahead? I never got this one game at a time mentality from the fans. Obviously the coaches and players have to take that approach, but that is because they are the ones actually playing the games. Fans can dream all they want.

Can we please be clear on one thing?

We did not beat the Cowboys.

We beat Brad Johnson and company.

Sure, we had a nice showing against a Cowboys team playing for nothing and featuring backups but we still have a LOT to prove.

That is all.

Brad Johnson didn't even enter the game until the 6:48 mark of the third quarter, the score was 17-3 at that point. Secondly, if you're going to highlight the fact that Dallas went sans some starters, it's also useful to note the Redskins were missing a few as well. So thanks for being both factually inaccurate and reminding us of things we already knew.

1st. We beat "the cowboys" in the 1st half.

2nd. We are without 6 starters.
1. The ENTIRE right side of our offensive line.
2. Jason
3. Carlos
4. Sean RIP

3rd. The Cowboys wanted to win and IF they had one everyone would have been rubbing it in our faces. When they saw that they couldn't win, they gave up and put BJ in.

4. 1 RUSHING YARD. 1. 1. 1. 1. 3 feet. Thats all they did, throughout the entire game. 1 yard.

What more do you want? We should have won that game in convincing fashion and we did.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
