The Rev. Ken Watson wasn’t sure what to think the first time his 4-year-old son asked to be locked in the closet.
After all, parents have been accused of child abuse for less than that.
But it made perfect sense once Watson learned that his son wanted to be locked in the closet so he could run out and pretend he was being introduced like the NFL players he idolized on television.
“I’d say, ‘Now starting for the Washington Redskins, No. 22, Benjamin Watson,’” the elder Watson said.
Those make-believe days are about to become reality for Watson, a 23-year-old tight end from the University of Georgia.
This is the TE i've wanted all along, but since we no longer have a second round pick I don't see it happening. In fact, the Broncos might take him with the pick we GAVE them in the Bailey deal.
Yeah, maybe we can trade for New Englands two picks and get him and Udeze or Wilfork or Starks if they are still there.
RIP 21

I wish there was a way we could draft the guy in the 2nd round without having to give up pick 5. Man why the hell isn't Jeremiah Trotter working as trade bait. I wish we could trade him and maybe next years 3rd or 4th round pick for someone's 2nd round pick and get Watson. He put up a 4.44 forty and I think around 30 bench reps! All of his combine scores were higher than Kellen Winslows. Thats saying something. The best part is the guy wants to be a Redskin!!!
