DOLPHINS WIN SUPERBOWL..?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

DOLPHINS WIN SUPERBOWL..?

Post by everydayAskinsday »

o wait that was just them celebrating their 1st win of the season.. I have never seen a team celebrate a regular season win the way the Dolphins did yesterday.. I understand they were overjoyed at snapping their 16 game losing streak and not becoming the 1st team to finish 0 & 16 (tampa went 0 & 14 before the league changed it to 16) ...

But come on.. the owner was crying.. and the players were in the endzone going bat crazy.. kudos to them for winning but act like youve been there before even if you havent in a REALLY LONG TIME .. My 2 cents

I thought it was cool, I listened to the TD on the radio and I thought one of the announcers was going to have a heart attack he was screaming so loud.

I'm glad they got a win, and really glad it came against Baltimore.
Bruce has the authority. When Bruce makes the decision, it's a Redskins decision.

Gotta say that I agree.

I recognize that it was a huge win for them, but that kind of public display was a little nauseating.

Being proud of a win is fine, but check yourself with the reality pill of it possibly being the only one in a 16-game season.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

The day before, a single win seemed pretty unlikely. I didn't have a problem with it. I'll take genuine emotion over the premeditated skits in the end zone any day of the week.

In this case I cut them some slack because they were about to be written in the history books as an all time bad team. At least in 76 the Bucs were an expansion team. If I were them, I would have been very, very relieved. As bad as 1-15 teams are no one remembers them. Like when Troy Aikman did it. No one at all.

I totally agree. This was emotion that could not be controlled. How can you hold in overwhelming happiness? In fact the owner had tears of joy.

Genuine indeed. I almost wept a tear for them. I was actually happy to see them win.

I was glad to see them win one and have been rooting for them to do so for a few weeks now. But it was a little much for people to be crying and bowing.

Hey, don't forget the "Aints", those several years when Saint fans wore bags over their faces!

Remarkable seasons should be remembered!
