Gianst in trouble if they lose tomarrow?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Gianst in trouble if they lose tomarrow?

Post by por-tiz2skins »

There 9-4.IF they lose tomarrow will go 7-7 and Giants will play the Bills at buffalo than play the pats. Now they can go 10-6 but 9-7 can very well help us.They beaten Eagles twice and us once but lost twice to Cowboys. But we beaten Eagles once and no one else. But we can beat Giants and Cowboys will be 9-7 and if Giants are 9-7 we can be in second place .

We beaten? But we and We be.??
Never before in the history of rowdy Saudi's has there ever been a rowdy Saudi like Eugene H. Greenbalm, the rowdiest of ALL Saudies. (He's a camel)
I began noticing just how rowdy he was when he began to yodel. I never knew that I never knew that he didn''t know how to yodel. So I had the edge. I lost track of Eugene and ended up in an itching and burnining rash.
At the doctors office, I was quizzed about my rash and Eugene's rowdiness. I denied ever knowing ANYONE named Frank.
Frank: "Bob?"
Bob: ,"Frank?"
I told them I knew nothing about Marleen's crabs and asked them if they'd like to see me chafe? It was then I decided there should be some puffineass and sweltering to my chafing and itching. Shouldn't there?
I began to yodel.......I never knew that I didn't know how to yodel........so I had the edge........

lol yall need to chill. cant you tell what the man is saying? It may be poor grammar but leave the kid alone, isn't he like 16? give it a rest. It's legible.
There are only two teams I root for in the NFL. The Skins, and whoever is playing Dallas.

It's okay that we drafted a Landry. After this season, the crygirls will have a new association with that name.

Interpretation for the literate:

The New York Giants are currently 9-4.
IF the New York Giants lose to the Washington Redskins, those same New York Giants might end up with a 9-7 record at the end of the season.
The Redskins do not hold any tie-breaker advantages with the Giants.
The Redskins would need to defeat both the Giants and the Dallas Cowboys to finish the season with a record of 9-7 AND to have a tie-breaker advantage over the New York Giants.

The answer to the original thread question, as to whether or not the New York Giants are "in trouble" if they lose to the Washington Redskins is "NO". The New York Giants are only "in trouble" if the Washington Redskins win ALL of their remaining games OR if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who hold a better conference record, win more of their remaining games than do the New York Giants, or possibly if the Minnesota Vikings and / or the New Orleans Saints win ALL of their remaining games.

What any of the above has to do with the Washington Redskins needing to win the remainder of their games is both cirmcumspect and circumstantial at best.

My 2 cents

Exactly what kind of trouble are the Giants in if they go 9-7 and we are 9-7, do they not get in? Do we play a weak-er opponent in the 1st round? All of this is null unless we can do something the this "great bunch of guys" that "the Lord's blessed us with" can do something they've truly struggled to do WIN AGAINST NY

The Bucs will win their division (if they didn't today), so the team with the pirate ship has no bearing on the wildcard race.

Actually, if they do go 9-7, there is a very good chance that they do not make the playoffs. If we win out, and NO wins out or Minnesota wins the two games not against us, then the Giants will be shut out of the playoffs. And after everyone has already given them the #5 seed, I would find that very satisfying indeed.

Yes, that is the #1 scenario that I am rooting for at this point. Man that would be sweet.

NY papers (and fans) are already grumbling that the Giants collapse at the end of every season. They make the playoffs and lose the first playoff game.

Culprit, of course, is always said to be Coughlin for not holding the team together. Factions. Splintering. Back-biting. "Fragile", said one write.

Cheery news.

Following the game today in Buffalo I am convinced of 2 things:

I hope the Giants keep Coughlin and Manning

We are better than 2 teams in the NFC East - that giants team is an embarrassment
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
