as far as the attitudes go a lot of people have an attitude in the nfl and I think it is nice to see someone get pissed when they loose cause I dont see that from many redskins after our intense games. I dont like to see bad sportsmanship but I do like a little fire. This guy will make an Imediate impact and is going to dominate the leauge for many years to come. Speaking of attitudes, I think shockey has a terrible one but the Giants fans certaintly didnt care when he was tearing us up and down the field getting them first downs! Winslow is a player and I feel that his attitude will slowly change with having gibbs as his coach. Gibbs changes the way a lot of players act on and off the field and especially with such a young guy. We have a high pick and its time for us to get a stud out of the draft that will start right away and make a difference. Our safties are already solid in my opinion and will look better under williams system and there is no reason to get a d lineman with the 5th overall pick.

Ok, no one said Winslow was bad... Most people just think that Taylor will more of an impact and or is a better player than Winslow. I dont think theres any question that Taylor has more character than Winslow especially with his "Soldier" speech, and his bitchyness.

Wait a second here, didn't Gibbs say he wanted good character in his players? I don't think the things I'm hearing about him represent good attitude. I agree with Gibbs, character is important. You cannot have 2 ego boosted players on one team. Better to leave this behavior to our man Lavar

Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

Well, coming to his meeting with Gibbs LATE and showing up out of shape would turn me off, even if he had the potential to improve his attitude.

I'm going to stick to what Jeremy said in this thread:

I don't care if it was just high school. he hasn't changed a damn thing. he's cocky as a winner, and the biggest whiner as a loser. I've met him at parties and seen him on the field. and it's the same attitude that we all saw on espn when he went on his rant that i remember from back when he lived in san diego. my attitude toward this guy has merit. I've played against him in high school, in air-it-out tournaments, and even talked to him off the field at parties. and i really think that he's not a "in the long run" kind of player. he'll be good...very good. one of the best. but that will just make him cockier and more demanding. not someone i want on my team

For all we know Jeremy could be Shawn Taylor trying to get Skins fans in his corner. I'M KIDDING!

It's good to know we've got an insider ala John Clayton on the Winslow beat, props Jeremy.

Also... I don't think anoyone ever said that Winslow lacked talent, because that is as far from fiction as possible. He's going to be very good, but at this juncture in our offseason, I think the draft should be dedicated primairly to the defensive side of the ball.

Our offense is set and on paper looks like one of the tops in the entire league. (I hate saying that). I think we'd be best served to trade down for a mid first round choice, select Kenechi Udeze, Tommy Harris, Vince Wilfork, or Will Smith, and get another late first or early second round pick.

We could use that pick to get either another D-lineman that falls, or the best player availble to plug in somewhere to compete for playing time.
