They are now on sale and the profits will go to Taylor's Memorial Fund.

Save money and don't buy them off eBay.

Yeah, I was pretty darned pissed. When I entered the stadium last Sunday, neither I nor the guy I brought were offered a Taylor towel! At least I can get one now with the money going to a good cause.

As for those profiteers, I had 30 RIP patches specially made which I took to the Bills game. Once there, I started passing them out to people I tailgate with. They really appreciated it.

A scalper walked up to me and said, "Man, you should be selling those patches. You would make a bundle."

I told him how tacky that was and to piss off.

Taylor Towel - scum bags

Post by chiefhog44 »

Those of you who are selling Taylor Towels / Redskins Rags on ebay for 50, 60 and even 75 bucks are scum bags. Handed out at the game for free to honor a fellow player and you're selling them for a profit. Sick.

If you're interested in buying straight from the team...below is the link. The proceeds go to the Sean Taylor Memorial fund and they're only $3.99!

https://store.redskins.com/productinfo. ... 1=624&sn=9

If you want to change the team's mentality of losing in the forth quarter (from the 10 page thread of how we suck as evidence as you do), let's make it as hard as possible for visitors to win at home. We're 3-3 at home and I put the blame on the fans. Look in the mirror. Change starts with us and I think these towels can make a big difference by causing utter pandamonium. If you don't believe me...go to a Steeler game. No one wins in Pittsburgh.

If you want to relive the glory years as many of you pathetic fans do, remember, NO ONE beat us at home. Starts with Chicago on Thursday.

The link was already posted in THIS thread thanks.

So don't even think about the past you pathetic Redskin fans, but please act like the fans of yesteryear...

... the height of hypocrisy?

In hopes of staying remotely on topic, I would love one of the towels if anyone managed to grab an extra. I pathetically enjoy all past, current and future Redskins. Thanks.

Does that mean they'll be available from the stadium Redskins store or do you have to pay for shipping?

Sorry, I started a new thread with this post and it was merged into this thread. Just trying to let everyone know. Thanks for spending the time to point it out.

and I said IF you want to live in the past...remember that we never got beat at home Boss

The height of your nit picking stupidity? On every post, some people have got to go in and nit pick and can't come away with the point. All I'm saying is let's start helping our team defend our turf more than we have. Look in the mirror before judging my team. Are you giving it your all? Fans only show up to division games in September and October, and when the weather gets bad...it's empty. Anyone heard of fair weather fans??? And I say let's change that mentality. Look at the records at home in the past 10 years and you'll see why we don't make the playoffs. MY POINT...Use the towels as a catalyst to make a change.

Yeah... it really is disgusting how some people make something like this all about themselves, eh?

I only took one towel. I put it in my car. And I'll keep it there until I start to get too sad to see it every day. I think I'm going to buy myself a frame so that I can put my Taylor jersey that I just bought the other day after I got off of work and my Taylor towel that I wrestled away from the hander-outer person and make myself a little Taylor tribute.

I was just on the site and there selling two different towels. The one with the big 21 and stripes are the ones they passed out at the game. The other one with 21 and his dob and dod (that sucks) is a new one they put out.

I just looked on Ebay again and this seller says he bought in bulk from Redskins.com

He has them for $3.99 buy it now w/ $2.99 shipping. His feedback rating is 1606 with 99.3% positive. Sounds like he may be an honest seller

Chris... I think that's a really nice idea. You should include your ticket stub from Sunday if you feel it appropriate.

I received my towels yesterday, and they are awesome! And I got a wonderful suprise in the bottom of the package. A 75th anniversery "Best Moments In Redskin History" DVD. It's unbelievable! Footage from 1932 to 2007. What a treat. Great clips of us crushing the Giants.....just like we need to do this weekend.

I lucked out cuz we got in the stadium late and missed the sean taylor tribute. There were no programs left or towels left but a nice gentleman sitting next to me let me have his towel and made my day. \:D/ But i still wanted a program ;furious; Dan Snyder had to know that situation would arrise. But the game still wasnt the same without big #21 in the secondary. [-o<

I got mine too. 7 of them. Not 5, not 10 but 7. I got my first win with the one I picked out of the bunch. I'm staying with it for the rest of the ride. I'm so stoked to have one...er I mean 7.

They're still available.

They were selling both versions of the towel at the Stadium store at FedEx on gameday against the bears. I picked up two of each, a set of which I gave away.

I'm using the "21" towel as my work out towel*, since it reminds me of what Sean would say when he worked out at odd hours, something along the lines of "when others are sleeping I'm always working".

I loved that!!

*I will pick up a couple more on gameday against the Pies to wave around.

I just got mine, three of them. I won't be able to attend the game this weekend but you can bet I'll be waving them in my living room.
