this is utterly ridiculous ... that is all i was trying to do... help out those who didn't know the playoff analysis for themselves to better help them choose who to root for... and not to start a debate of the redskins chances of making the playoffs. if i wanted that, this thread would be called, "are the redskins making the playoffs?"

You can say that again. I learned long ago on this site - you can be as clear as possible and clarify until you are blue in the face - people read what they want to read and hear what they want to hear - whether it's actually what you said or not.

Gonna give us an update now that Lions, etc. lost?
