Collins is a great back up. I do like this guy. His arm strength is questionable but he has guts and that cannot be taught.

I have a feeling we will win against the Giants. The theme this year has been to hang on the the very end, and then snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. To continue that theme, we have to stay in the race to the very last game. Who doubts that is going to happen? Only this time, with the whole season on the line, and playing the very last game to be played in the regular season, with all other teams watching us on the edge of their seats, we will eek out a victory and sneak into the playoffs. Maybe not, maybe it will be a soul-destroying defeat that will make me chew my skin off. But the important thing is that it has to come down to the wire. And for that to happen, we need to stay in the race by winning against the Giants.

The PLAYOFFS started lst Thursday for the Redskins.

EVERY game from now on continues to be a PLAYOFF game for the Redskins. We lose, we are out.

The TRUTH is that nobody really knows for sure whether Collins will play a great game again or lay an egg. It really comes down to that. I have afeelling he will do well because he knws the system and wishes to grab this opportunity. I am with him all the way.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

The ball looked like it was in slow motion. I was thinking every pass was going to get picked off. I give him a ton of credit though, he put up some highly respectable numbers in that game. I hope he can continue to perform at the same level. I think he should be fairly prepared. <sarcasm>

I agree with Riggo. Perterson is good, but Vikings aren't that good. Before Peterson started playing the Vikings weren't good at all. And the young QB completely stunk it up at the begining of the season. The Peterson, Taylor Duo is the only thing keeping him from stinking it up now. If we stop the Running game we will win that game, Jackson isn't good enough to beat us by himself.

You're right, the Vikings aren't great. But better than average is enough in the NFC to put you in the playoffs, and they're playing great defense, and have a great running game. And Jackson, much as he was awful the first half of the year, has been pretty good lately (74% completions the past 4 games is damn impressive).

They're a team that's hot and has been winning lately, and consistently plays their style of offense and defense. That's a damn sight more than any other potential wild card team can say.

So while they're not a great team by any stretch, they're a good bet to get the 6th playoff spot (from where I sit now that's what I think), since they're good enough.
